Well, I'm Off To FAN EXPO, Tell Me What You Want!!!1

Damn, sorry.:csad:

Didn't mean to open a wound, or anything. Just playing.

Hey no prob, also I forgot. I got a plastic V for Ven mask. It only the face, didnt come with the hair or hat, so it covered half my face. They where only 10 bucks so I had to buy it.

Dang! Only 10 buck! Halloween is coming up. You should get a wig for that, & a hat!

 First heelies, then lies about his age, then horrible grammar, making a "professional" (:whatever:) Punisher movie with a "celeb", then arguing with his friend on the forums over who gets to be the Punisher and now he rides a Tricycle?! Oh deer God! :woot:

Lol, ask Harken 51, he was there with me and his bro, and I was like right infront of Adam west and George A Romaro, But Adam Wests autograph was 50 BUCKS. It was a totaly big rip. But ya, it was fun. Its pretty much a big, big, BIG comic book store with every thing a fan wants in it.

I insult you and you tell me what it was like?:down:

WTF, why was West chagring for autographs? Shouldn't they be free?
It isn't even worth 30 bucks online!

It was soo funny just watching him sit there, charging people 50 bucks for a scribble on a pic.:csad: Soo sad.
Did you see if he took the money and put it in his pocket or did he hand the money over to his manager?

:csad:

well, there was a black box beside him. Then he would put the money into the box. Its sad seeing a old man charging 6 year olds 50 bucks for a scribble. Thats a total sin.

It's sick. He owes the fans. Not the other way around:cmad:

Yeah his stupid manager is there and is all money hungry...I'll let you know more tommorrow about how that went down.So amny horror stories from fans online about meeting West.

Yeah I was there today and yesterday and I'll be there tommorrow. I always attend all 3 days of the con.

New, as you see from my avvy I could not pull off old Joker.

When the '89 batman came out I dressed up as the Joker. Let me tell you that paint sucked! As soon as it dried. Every facial movement became painful.

:csad: not cool!!!

I hate the make-up that melts away or doesn't blend right.

The make-up I got is great. Dries perfectly.

I was there all weekend as well.

I was waiting in the Adam West line with a buddy, and we left when we overheard a mention about the $50 price tag. I didn't get a whole lot of signatures this weekend (John Romita Sr, John Romita Jr, Steve McNiven, David Finch, Greg Pak and Mark Paniccia) but at least I didn't have to pay for them.

I also picked up the following...

I have that Spidey T.
Was there a fee for taking a picture with West as well?

I'm actually not sure if there was. I know there was a $40 fee for getting pictures with Charisma Carpenter and Tricia Helfer.

How was that hostel?
They have private rooms too don't they?
Were most of the people there for Con?

The hostel was alright. It's not really my thing though. I would have prefered to put up the extra cash for a hotel and some more privacy. There are some private rooms, but I'm not sure how big they are. There was a group of 5 of us that went together and we were put in a room with 6 beds so there was only one guy we didn't know in our room so it wasn't too bad. I didn't talk to many people there (we spent about 90% of our time at the Expo) but about the 4-5 I talked to were planning on hitting the Expo at some point over the weekend.

That's cool, at least there was only one person you didn't know.
That poor soul surely felt out numbered. :woot:

West was charging 10 bucks to get your pic taken with him. I got his autograph for the 50 and when we went back to his table after they left we saw he had been drawing on the table cloth and had signed his name so I took some nail clippers and cut it out lol.

Oh and here is a list of what I got....

Adam West autograph

Dwight Schultze autograph and photo

David Prowse autograph (on a giant star wars cut out I'm trying to get signed by everyone)

Autographs from
John Romita SR
John Romita JR
David Finch
C.B. Cebulski
Steve McNiven
Olivier Coipel
Michael Turner
Simone Bianchi
Paul Dini (and photo with)
Frank Quitely (who also brought me some comics and did a sketch for me)

This was a great con and really made up for the last 2 years of them sucking hard.
