Man I invested so much time in this series it's not funny and now it looks like it is likely never to be finished.

I feel bad for his family but it does suck the series will probably not be finished

I bought the whole series sometime ago last year cause someone said it was one of the best reads. I'm on around page 250 of the first book.

As you now know,.. there was enough Material to finish the series, and his wife has chosen a writer to do the last book.

I didn't even know he'd died,... Last September I was up to my hips in stuff and it slipped right past me.

Depressing.

I hope he's in a better place with no pain or suffering to him.

I've broken down and rebought volumes one thru six of his Wheel of time series so I can refamiliarize myself with this world by the time the last volume comes out.

Now that his wife has hired a Ghost Writer to finish the story based on her knowledge and the notes R Jordan left, there will be an ending to this series.
