SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea referred to its missile program for the first time Monday amid reports it has apparently completed fueling for a test launch of a weapon that could reach the United States. A North Korean state television broadcast, monitored in Seoul, said nothing about whether the North intended to test-launch a long-range missile. But the report cited a Russian editorial on the subject and said the North "has the due right to have a missile that can immediately halt the United States' reckless aerial espionage activity."

North Korea is not so dumb as to lauch a nuclear weapon at the USA. Even they are more circumspect than that!

Suppose they did. It could only destroy a small portion of the country. Then they would be wiped out. They know better than that. Now it is considerably more likely that they may shoot at our "aerial espionage activity" as that Russian editorial so quaintly put it. But I doubt even that. The last tyrant to do that was... lets see... oh yeah Saddam Insane. It didn't serve him too well, and I suspect that ol' Kim Jong Ill took note of it.

There are far more pressing matters to worry over. Although it certainly makes since to keep an eye on the numbskulls, I'll grant you that.
