It probably would've made more sense if they'd called it "Wetwork" or something. The word "wet" by itself on a game starring a sexy woman is bound to invite misinterpretation.

I finally played the demo last night. It was good, although I didn't quite get the hang of the acrobatics. I felt really clumsy a lot of the time and generally just stuck to jumping and shooting so I could get the bullet-time thing and not get shot myself.

I loved the demo for this game. It felt kind of like playing a combination of The Matrix and Kill Bill. After I get all my must haves this holiday season, it's definitely on my wishlist.

The only fun part I've played is when she's on the expressway and has to leapfrog onto various cars while shooting at her mark.

Ahh I think it's cool the way you can aim the guns individually. No other game like this let's you do that. Like slide between two guys and smoke em both at the same time Then finish a third off with your katana.

lowest of the three shows scores. but it's not in a bad place. ether.

as to what Vic and Scott said in "Reviews on the run" it's a fun game . It just needed a little more polish. This was most likely due to activison dropping this game and it push back development which these guys at A2m had to do them selves with still was a short time.

If that didn't happen this game would have had that polish. They did good, considering the raw deal they got. So if they make a sequel they'll be able to fix those problems.

The guys from X-Play werent big fans of this game either. Said it was baisclaly an inferior version of max Payne with a female character, and a story that doesnt make much sense and isnt really as "grindhouse" as it's being sold to be. They were also baffled by the whole "knee-sliding" thing where the character was constantly sliding around on her knees (on concrete surfaces) and shooting people in bullet time. They gave it a 2 out of 5 stars.

I felt the same. I was looking forward to Wet, but the demo sort of killed my excitement for it. The controls were all awkward and annoying at times, too.
