A few days ago, Apple scheduled their developers conference in the same week as E3.
Why do you think that was?
Do you think Apple will release a gaming console?
Rumors say that Apple TV is going to became a gaming console, do you believe that to be true?
To put their conference at the same time as E3 was not a coincidence, there are no coincidences when it comes to big companies, so, what´s the deal?
Is the console market ready and willing for a new contender?
What about the games, if they are mobile games on tv, can they be harmful for the industry?

The only thing i know, if they actually release a console, it will make the price of the PS3 at launch be EXTREMELY cheap.
Also, if it happens, except Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony to release their new consoles in record time.

Apple is just full of themselves, so they think their show will draw more (attendance wise) than E3... I'd be willing to bet that they're wrong.

I'll believe Apple is getting into the console market when I see it... which, I don't. Even if they did they'd release a new and "thinner" version of the console every year.

The only thing I could really see Apple doing that is console related would be to put an App Store into Apple TV and release some kind of controller. Let small developers throw up larger games than are on the iPhone, and play them on your tv. (Though, it'd have to be a next gen of the Apple TV, because I don't think the current one has any real storage space.)

I guess I could also see them trying to make the first download only gaming console. Like Steam but you have a dedicated box for it that is attached to your TV.

Yea the current Apple Tv streams from your computer. I dont believe it actually holds any data.

If they do make a game console, I'll be surprised. I won't buy it unless it's mind-blowing, but I'll look into it.

But yeah, I think they're just full of themselves. Not that that is a problem, they are a pretty ground-breaking company...who I buy everything from

Haha same, between my sister and I, we own 8 Apple products. The only thing i dont have is an iPod but thats because i have an iPhone.

IF they were to get into the game console market,I could imagine them basically mixing elements from handhelds such as the newest/latest PSP&DS with design&hardware of an I-Pad!.....Which would be interesting and perhaps"ground-breaking&innovative"(depending on game versions mostly),But they would likely be releasing way too many versions and updates would be annoying.

But naaaah,IF it has anything to do with&at E3,I think it'll just be some kind of app for there games and will get bunch of new games and/or game versions for the I-Pad!

...and airplane food? What's the deal with that?
