I love this movie, it looks more than great. Russell Crowe is one of my favorite actors, just like Ron Howard is one of my favorite directors.

I think it is deserved Oscar Awards.

Also: Script - 9, Cast - 10, Film - 10.

P.S. My TOP3 of favorite films:

1. American Beauty
2. Forrest Gump
3. A Beautiful Mind

The fact that a woman's love can cure his disease was a little far fetched...Jennifer Connolly did a great job as did Russell Crowe.

acting was top notch, script was okay, directing was extremely bland. Not a fan.

It idn't cure it. It kept it in check. I think his intelligence also helped do that.

It's hard to watch a Crowe movie now that I know he has so much attitude, but Ron Howard is indeed a good director. He's attached to direct Homer's movie about a talking pie  (Simpsons reference)

I quite liked it, myself. I really liked how it both showed the horror, really, of schizophrenia, as well as the real power of the mind, and all that it can accomplish. It's a little bland, as are most of Ron Howard's movies, IMO, but the acting, and overall story more than makeup for it.

I liked it but at the sametime, it was tailored made for the Oscars. I just got that vibe from it.

It's like a more PC version of Fight Club, with Fight Club being the more interesting movie.

It's a good movie. You should watch it. I really love it because I've dealt with the disease personally (I aint tellin none of you strangers how) and it's story is hopeful. And There's a bit of 6th sense to it too which might fool you.

I heard it's pretty good. I've just never had the time to watch it.

Ron Howard likes to take interesting subjects and make them boring.

I thought it was really good--the acting is top-notch all-around.

I didn't care for it, found it boring despite it's interesting subject material. Also can't understand Russel Crowe, he mumbles too much.

Maybe I'm just bitter because it stole the best picture from Fellowship of the Ring.

Very good movie. Crowe became one of my fav actors after I saw this.

Did you see "The Insider"? That was my introduction to Russell Crowe. He was in a lot of makeup and had on a lot of weight. He is a total holigan, but I love him. He has a romantic side too, from hearing him describe his wedding. Did I go off subject, sorry?!
