Well I've just registered with www.fanfiction.net today. I'll be posting my first Thundarr fan fic, Thundarr The Barbarian & The Lost Children on there as soon as I'm allowed. Hopefully this will help spark some interest in the story and might even reach Hollywood.

Unfortunately www.fanfiction.net has a stupid rule that you have to wait at least 2 days to publish a story on there. The good news is I might actually be done my second story in 2 days, and will be posting 2 stories instead of just one. I'll keep you posted.

Of course my Thundarr stories are already up on this site, but now people looking specifically for fan fictions can find them on there now too. Thundarr totally rocks all over He-Man! He-Man was a p*$$y compared to Thundarr. If Skeletor were to ever mess with Thundarr, Ariel, and Ookla, they'd do a hell of a lot more to him than just throw him into a mud puddle!

So if they ever do make a live action Thundarr movie, who do you see playing the main roles? What do you think of all of my selections?

Of course you can always mix & match actors for the roles. things like....

Tyler Mane = Thundarr The Barbarian

Devon Aoki = Princess Ariel

Shaquil O'Neal = Ookla The Mok

Patrick Stewart = Gemini The Wizard

I'd probably go with unknowns. By the time a Thundarr movie gets made some of those guys (Sorbo, Lundgren) will be to old, IMO.

Lundgren's too old now IMO. Sorbo could still pull it off if they start shooting in the next few years. As could Mane, Diesel, and Urban. The age of the actor playing Ookla is less relevant, as long as he looks like the character when in makeup. Hu, Kreuk, Liu, and Aoki are all still young enough to play Ariel if they start shooting in the next few years. Carrer is getting a little too old for the role now (though she'd be perfect to play Ariel's mother in an origins story).

As for using unknowns? If you're planning on a movie going straight to DVD, sure. But if you have any plans to see it on the big screen in a movie theatre? You need known actors in at least the roles of Thundarr, Ariel, and the main villain (either Sabien or Gemini, depending on whether or not you're planning on an origins story). But that's just my opinion.

If I were doing a Thundarr origins story, I'd probably cast Lundgren as Thundarr's father.
