this is something thats been bugging myself and a few mates, its simple a trilogy consists of 3 films if it goes over that then it's a franchise

so far we've only got

orlando bloom (lotr and potc)
ian mckellen (lotr and x-men)
micheal j fox (BTTF and stuart little)

Matt Damon - Bourne, Ocean's

Harrison ford - Indy Star wars
Sly Stallone - Rocky Rambo
Mike Myers - Shrek Austin Powers

Dam franchise rule

Both of these have had more than 3 films. Does that still count?

Eddie Murphy - "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Shrek"

they were trilogies for a while, so they should

i mean... any of these movies could be getting more

Christopher Lee has been in Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and James Bond.

He was only in two of the Star Wars films.

I take it that if the actor is in one installment, then that's all that matters. The title is 'appeared in more than one trilogy'...nothing about having to be in all three pictures.

That said:

Julian Glover - "Indiana Jones" and the Original "Star Wars."

Well that's just cheating :cmad:

rules were meant to be broken :cmad:

people need to read the first post, if there is more than three films then its a franchise not a trilogy

and yes the actor/actress has to appear in all 3 films

By those rules (not having to appear in all 3)

Alfred Molina - Spider-Man, Indiana Jones
Samuel L Jackson - Jurassic Park, Star Wars Prequels

:D

Yeah them being in all three films of the trilogy is better

Or else i could say alfred molina - Indiana jones, Spider-man :whatever:

Fine, so you two come along and back up my point after I've already turned to the dark side. :csad:

But that makes it harder *kicks and screams*

*sigh* :csad:

Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker - "Star Wars" PT and "Star Wars" OT ... hey if you look the other way, that counts.

He doesn't quite fit your criteria, but Bruce Spence played The Gyro captain in The Road Warrior and a pilot (same guy?) Beyond thunderdome. He also played Tion Medon in Revenge of the sith. He played the train man in the Matrix. Also he played the mouth of Sauron in the extended cut of Lord of the Rings. he may not be in all installments of these trilogies but hes been in a bunch of them.
