Sequels Ratner & Juggernaut in Wolverine film? Plus more!

Cudmore is signed for 3 films, Grammar for at least 2, Foster for 3, and with Jackman being a producer of Wolverine he might give himself a cameo in this one to help sell the film.

sorry... X-men, spiderman, superman, batman are the only comic movies/cartoons I've ever seen... ONLY... but my heart belongs to X-Men :O I hearts it. Lots. :o

Try picking up Silver Surfer it's some of the best sci-fi action out there. Infinity Gauntlet anyone

Actually SS might find himself in a future X-Film if we're lucky however his origins need to be told through and around the Fantastic Four for now.

Oooh... I need a new avvy...

lol... so Dark...ya like X3? ... It had its moments. Question...did Dr. Moira ever worked with SInister?

Xmen 4 :Next generation Xmen movie?

i guess iceman , kitty ,colossus, Angel , (rogue?) and second rate young mutants are going to star.

All signs that this franchise is going down the toilet..

.............stop that **** marvel........:down

Actually, I wouldn't mind a movie like that, if done correctly. I used to read Generation X, and I can picture something similar to it... I'd like to see more of Colossus, Icemans ice slid, The cure messing with mutant powers leading to Rogue gaining superstrength and flight, etc....Lets just hope its not like the cheap Generation X movie that Fox put out several years ago. Anyone Remember that? Where Emma Frost and Banshee led the X kids.... and Jubilee was caucasian and Mondo the samoan was black? lol... I'm sorry, I think some changes from comics to film are fine, but only to the extent where it doesn't piss the fans off too much... Maybe we nitpick a bit too much, but hey, we're the ones paying to see the movie multiple times.

Something I dont understand. Why does Steven Spielberg do movies like War of the Worlds and Minority Report, which to me were good but nothing too memorable.... and yet, we cant get a director like him, cameron(last film Aliens of the Deep? wtf), or George Lucas for x-men? Hell, they can even give us a Robert Zemeckis or Ron Howard! It's like they put together such a talented Award winning cast, they might as well give us an award winning director... No offense to Brett Ratner...

Spielberg will do Captain America. He's infatuated with that character and was hoping to do it long ago. put money on it.

Avi said there's a specific director but he's not free till 2009 to start filming. It all fits.

You know i am a big generation X fan ( i mean the comics ;) ) i'm even a big New mutant fans from the eighties , but with that kind of filmmakers , with the storylines set up in X3 ( if there is one thing they could have kept out from the comics imo , it's multiple resurected character among others ) with the others characters wasted ( i mean scott :o ) ....and i dunno like i said i liked those comics , but at this point , for movies , i just see an attempt to reach the Dawson audience..really i don't have any trust in those filmmakers..

ps : yep , if only

Actually spielberg worked on the old Captain America cartoon and even did a voice over on it if i remember correctly.

I don't want Ratner to direct Wolverine (hopefully titled Weapon X but I doubt it) he doesn't have enough of an edge. THen again I don't give a flying F*** about Hughs movie.

And A next generation movie sounds iffy, I think it would be cool if the young muties became a government mutant team ala X factor. I think an X factor movie could be awesome. Then they could throw in havok and forge, and possibly Polaris, but her power is too similar to Magneto so I doubt they would.

Cool sounds like we will get an X-Men movie without Wolverine and Storm in it giving the screen time to Colossus,Iceman,Angel,Kitty, and Rogue.About freakin time.

Give it to James Cameron!

give me Tarantino, give me Rodriguez, give me De Palma, Michael Mann, Scorcessie!! dammit

point is, Ratner is by far not the best director on the planet, he definatly is in the middle of the pack some where the movies he has made he has proven that he has some talent (Rush Hours, Red Dragon, X3) and proven he can flop hard to(After the Sunset, others i can't think of off the top of my head) but he is good, and again, Jackmen, Stewart, Mckellen, they aren't idiots, they aren't going to do these movies (Especially Jackmen considering he is producing the movie) if they didn't think Ratner was a good director

Ratner suits the purpose of big budget action as good as anyone and better in those terms then his predecessor Singer (albeit Singer is obviously the more talented filmmaker, Ratner made the better X-Men movie, but Usual Suspects rules)

this also raises another interesting question...what is the story of Wolverine going to be if they are going to work Juggernaut in it? will they be ditching the prequel idea? cause i kind of liked that

and while i like the Juggernaut i would also like to see Omega Red in it

I say give thet Wolverine movie to Chan-Wook Park (Old boy)

There we would be in business :)
