What are your predictions for Infinity War and beyond? NO SPOILERS

It's been awhile since I've seen a thread like this and I just thought it would be fun to see other people's predictions for the future of the MCU. Of course if you know what's going to happen, please do not spoil!

I guess I'll start:

- Agent Coulson will return...but maybe as a Skrull.
- Thanos will use the Infinity Gauntlet to bring Quicksilver back to life, tempting her to follow him.
- Hawkeye will die.
- Vision and Scarlet Witch will hook up and go into space or something
- Doctor Strange will become the new leader of The Avengers

Obviously I have a lot of ideas but I'm trying to be as realistic as possible. No FF or Netflix characters for now.

My hope (I have my fingers crossed) is that the post-credits scene for A4 shows whichever character died for real (I hope at least someone will stay dead after this movie) in their grave. Suddenly, their face begins to turn back to skrull shape (like Zam Wesell in the beginning of Attack of the Clones), indicating they were a skrull and teasing a secret invasion storyline for phase 4+. The skrulls' introduction in Captain Marvel will make this moment significant even to casual fans.

An alternative is a shift somewhat away from the Avengers, with a Thunderbolts movie or two? Maybe one of the next few phases finishes as Zemo's plan comes to its peak, and the Avengers and Thunderbolts either face off or work together to fight whatever Zemo's plan is?

However, Marvel has talked about expanding to the cosmic side of the universe, so I'd expect characters like Nova will get movies. Maybe even a Beta Ray Bill and Thor movie?

Tony Stark dies, but RDJ continues on in the MCU as an AI.
Vision dies, but his consciousness merges with the mind stone and he becomes a cosmic entity.
Wanda leaves the Avengers to train with Strange and form the Midnight Sons.
Cap takes over as the head of SHIELD.
Thor becomes king of Asgard and throws Mjolnir across the rainbow bridge.
Carol heads up the new Avengers, now housed in a Manhattan mansion.
Maria Hill is revealed to be a Skrull.

I've had a thought of Thanos bringing people back as enemies to toy with the Avengers. So Quicksilver, The Ancient One, Agent Carter, etc. brought back with super powers to fight the Avengers.

Avengers 4, Adam Warlock will end up with the Infinity Gauntlet and create a new Marvel Universe rebooting everything.

Vision will die in Infinity War.

Somebody else will die in Avengers 4. Most likely Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Iron Man, Hulk, Groot, War Machine, Drax, Thor, Falcon, Scarlet Witch or Captain America. Possibly all of the above. Hulk is honestly the most likely.

Black Panther, Star Lord, Black Widow, Rocket Raccoon, Winter Soldier, Spider-Man, Gamora, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel will all survive Avengers 4.

Avengers 4 will will feature Thanos with the full Infinity Guantlet having killed half the life in the universe.

Defenders and Punisher will appear in Avengers 4.

Moondragon will be introduced.

I doubt a Guardian will die in an Avengers-Movie. Would be a marketing-damage for the GOTG Vol. 3 if Drax is not there per example. Especially as he is in Kind of romantic arc with Mantis.
And Groot will not die, because he is the marchendise magnet. And not-nerdy Girls goes just in the movie to see Groot.

I've had a thought of Thanos bringing people back as enemies to toy with the Avengers. So Quicksilver, The Ancient One, Agent Carter, etc. brought back with super powers to fight the Avengers.

I've thought something like Thanos using it to tempt Wanda to join his side. We all know Wanda is powerful as hell. The way she played with the Avengers in AoU was a thing of beauty. She is still discovering her powers. IMO she is arguably the most powerful character in the MCU, but she doesn't know her full powers yet. Thanos will know it...and will get her to flip by bringing her brother and parents back. She will then kill Hawkeye (who has been like a father figure to her since the first movie) and come close to, if not straight up, killing other Avengers before realizing wtf is going on with the help of QS. That would be a major character development for her.

What, exactly, makes you think for a second that one of the most successful film franchises ever is just going to be shut down?

Yeah thats dumb. Even though this is clearly the apex of the franchise. My prediction is the arrival of Namor finally after IW. Also Steve, Nick and Tony are done. Thor becomes king when Odin bites it. Thanos is destroyed. His minions the black order is destroyed. Guardians escape unharmed. Nebula makes the ultimate sacrifice. Living Tribunal retrieves all the stones. The government sanctions the Thunderbolts. Spidey is officially an Avenger. Skrulls begin an invasion leading to Thunderbolts.
