Infinity War Team line-up after "Infinity War"

I am just reading an Avenger comic (wrote about it before - Spiderman tried to be an Avenger)

They talk about "there will be just only 6 members at the same time". All others will be "no active Avengers"...

But Vision, as the new head, said something like "from now on, we change the rule" - but that leads to TWO teams, one at the east coast and one at the west coast!

(i am sure many of you now this better than me)

Maybe, "Civil War" and the amount of heroes also leads in the MCU to two teams?

I still think, that we will see the Illuminatis, but that could solve the "problem" of "too many heroes" also...

Good idea, two teams would make sense. And I'd love to see the Illuminati. But personally I'd prefer Marvel have the balls to try something new and change the team line-up. See how the public reacts and how the GA feels.

If the reaction is negative they can always just bring back the old line-up or something.

Black Panther
Captain Marvel
Antman
Wasp
Vision
Scarlet Witch
Falcon

But honestly it could be any combination. It's going to be very interesting to see what happens after infinity war.

Yeah. Some big changes are gonna roll around.

confirmed...joke aside, i also think it's what they're going for...iron man, black panther, dr. strange and blackbolt...all they miss is namor, mr fantastic and charles xavier so they are mostly complete already. and who knows...after the f4 flopped there's a chance for mr. fantastic being in the alliance in a future film

my remainings after the wars would be
captain marvel
black panther
ant man
wasp
dr.strange
inhumans
hulk
who ever plays captain america
iron man/maybe younger recast or just in the background
spider man
maybe thor/beta ray bill

i think the vision, hawkeye, black widow, and scarlett witch won't make it and the others may get recast

I get the feeling if any original Avengers make it it'll be Hawkeye. Someone brought it to my attention and Hawkeye just feels like the type to mentor new Avengers. Maybe even be the one who assembles them.

That sounds very right to me. Maybe not as much for the post IW Avengers, but he would be the perfect mentor for the Young Avengers.

Eh, either way if any Avengers actually die during CW. Hulk, War Machine, Cap, Iron Man, and Falcon are my opinion for who should bite it.

But let's be honest they'll probably bring them back eventually somehow through gems or magic comicy stuff.

Anybody else reading the new Ultimates comics? That could be laying the groundwork for their "2nd team" right there. For those who don't, it's totally unrelated to old Ultimates comics - now, the Ultimates are a team (including Black Panther and Captain Marvel) designed to proactively handle cosmic threats before they make it to Earth. Their first mission is to "fix" Galactus, for example. And Captain Marvel runs the Alpha Flight space station, "Earth's first line of defense," with Abigail Brand as her Lt. Commander - basically making Alpha Flight the new SWORD. The whole thing just seems like they're laying some groundwork for the future of the MCU here, since I have a feeling Fox has the rights to SWORD, and Marvel wants an alternative.

If the MCU does follow that path, they might branch off an Ultimates-esque franchise of cosmic-based Avengers who interact with the GotG on a regular basis. Feige did suggest Captain Marvel would be the bridge between Earth and the cosmic MCU, which would seem to fit that scenario.

That's a very interesting idea.

I'd love to see Gaurdians and Avengers interact more often. But all those actors together, not gonna come cheap

My picks would be:
Captain Marvel
Black Panther
Scarlet Witch
Quicksilver :cmad:
Captain America - Steve
Hawkeye/Falcon

and guests IM/Thor/Hulk

You'll note my picks tend to be a little bit nostalgic (with the notable exception of CM) and hearken back to the VERY early Avengers (first couple of years in particular)

Quicksilver is DEAD and he is never coming back.

Does an Avengers team have to have Captain America or Iron Man in it? I want to see someone else be the leader.

I know your type. YOU just WANT someone to die!!! :cwink:

QS will be back and will be part of the Avengers just like he was in the early comics.....that's going to REALLY piss you off!!! Not only will someone not die; they're going to start resurrecting people. :oldrazz:

I mean either way theres nothing wr can do about it. If Marvel keeps him dead. We cant do anuthing. Id they bring him back we cant do anything. We gotta just sit there and except it. So whats the point in arguing over something we have 0 control over.

This may piss you off, but I really don't give a **** about Quicksilver. Maybe because I'm newer to comics than some people, but Quicksilver hasn't been all that prominent in recent years. There are other characters I would rather want to see become Avengers.

Call me paranoid, but I feel that there are only so many Avengers Marvel can focus on at any given time. For example, I don't believe that a 12 person Avengers team in a single film is all that possible. It just sucks because movies take up to three years to make, where comic books only take about a month. There is only so many characters and storytelling you can do in a two hour movie.

Prominence has nothing to do with it (if that were the case a lot of these people wouldn't be in movies to begin with). They're gonna keep Quicksilver dead because people have been *****ing about the death fake-outs for a while now so this is an example Marvel can use to say "See, he's not coming back like Coulson or Fury!"

Anyway, I'm thinking like:

Thor
Iron Man
Black Panther
Vision
Black Widow
Ant-Man and Wasp
Scarlet Witch
Falcon
Captain Marvel
Some iteration of the Hulk

Bring on the big ol' roster.

As long as Cap and Iron Man are still there, and with that many characters, most of them will end up getting chump change for screen time. I also doubt Marvel is going to keep virtually every hero around by the start of phase 4. The Avengers is more of a revolving door type of team. They may keep Iron Man and Cap on the team, but other Avengers could end up leaving. Black Widow goes dark, Hulk leaves the team, and Asgard spends several years rebuilding Asgard.

The Russos hinted that some of the older Avengers may not be around by the start of phase 4. I see Marvel dropping(not necessarily kill) a couple more of the original Avengers and not just Hawkeye to give the newer heroes a chance to shine.

That's nice. To reiterate, I'd like:

Hard to tell in this media whether or not you are joking. If so, great. If not, seriously lighten. I was certainly kidding around, but could care less who you do or don't like, who you do or don't want to die, etc. (I just don't want them to die unless they're bad guys :woot: ).

It might work (the big crew), but I think it would be tough. What I "think" will happen is that the big 3 (Cap, IM, Thor) will take something of a hiatus and essentially be replaced by CM and BP as the leadership group. I think it's pretty obvious that Marvel has big plans for those 2 (with BP, it's a little more obvious because he's being introduced first). So, post-IW, I could see

Captain Marvel (Leader)
Black Panther (Maybe Leader...co??)
Scarlet Witch
Quicksilver :cwink:
Dr. Strange
Falcon
Maybe Vision ??

Certainly Marvel isn't done with CA, IM, Thor, Hulk and they might play a short role in a movie or 2 while Marvel sees how the new team plays out.

EDIT: Oops....forgot Ant/Giant Man and Wasp

I didn't want Quicksilver to die, but now he's dead, I would like him to stay dead. Death is something that should be feared and respected. There should be no coming back from it. Although... Marvel could bring some dead people back in Valhalla. If the rumors in Civil War(Cap dying) and Ragnarok(Hel and Valhalla fighting each other) are true, maybe Cap dies in Civil War and finds himself in Valhalla and teams up with The Howling Commandos. Then the forces of Valhalla help Thor wage war against Hela and her army. Infinity War 1 could have Thor helping Cap reunite with his corporeal self.

This will probably never happen, but I'm hoping to see dead people fight each other in Ragnarok.

Now, I generally don't like the idea of dead people coming back, but the rumor about Ragnarok just sounds awesome.
