I thought Batman's reasoning was logical. How is humanity going to progress if every time they **** up, they get bailed out by virtual "Gods"?

The people of Gotham pulled themselves out of a very bad situation, without the help of the JLA, and i thought that was a very cool bit of storytelling. I mean; how interesting would it have been if Superman just "fixed" everything for them?

well, the thing is: Batman is there to help people. And he let them rot. Yes, Superman's presence would totally change the real world (read "Must there be a superman?"). But if you want to read a story that targets this issue read "Watchmen". In the DC Universe an earthquake is not a big problem - the giant wizard from the Andromeda galaxy who turns people into moths and let them fly into the sun is.

Batman Year One has already been done (more or less) to death with so many elements of it being borrowed for Batman Begins, BTAS, The Batman, and B89.

I wouldn't mind seeing a somewhat extended version of The Killing Joke, only because translating the novel itself would probably only make it about fifteen to twenty minutes long.

Same with Ego. I'd love to see it, but it'd probably be really, really short.

Apparently Jeff Matsuda really wanted to have Hush in the animated series "The Batman," but he never got to do it. He actually pitched a DTV movie called "The Batman vs. Hush," and was hoping that the sales of "The Batman vs. Dracula" would have gotten him and his boys the greenlight, but Warner Bros. turned him down. He did make this promo image though.

I still have hope that we'll see a Hush DTV at some point. Also, maybe they can get Bruce Timm to do a DTV of "The Dark Knight Returns." Think this, but 72 minutes long.

KNIGHTFALL, will be extremely bad ass and full of action. Batman would be battling those of the indecent, you'll see batman struggling in fighting the criminals from arkham, a bad ass violent confrontation with bane. Then we can get scenes of him training with shiva, emerging from the darkness as it once were even more bad ass, and defeating bane to the fullest. Hell yea, knightfall will own everyone. A story of rejuvenation from within. The battle shall rage.
