I saw that vid posted in another forum, and immediately thought about how his physique is exactly like how comic book characters are drawn and conceptualized (in the comics).

That vid is the first time I have ever heard of this guy, so I am not even attempting to speculate on whether he'll have acting skills. I was just wondering on speculation based on his physique, which is unique, even among bodybuilders, as they (bodybuilders) tend to be shorter, and not 6'6"/6'7" like this guy (although he seems even taller in the vid).

That...was...incredibly disturbing. :(

Uhhh...can he...act?

I'd lean towards "probably not." I was just speculating based on his very rare, physical attributes (NBA player tall AND overmuscled), which is used a lot in comics, but is very rare in real life.

What about Colossus? Isn't he supposed to be around 6'6"?

I know there are wrestlers with at least his height, but they're not as overmuscled and perfectly-proportioned as this guy is, usually. Proportion is a huge factor, when judging bodybuilding. This guy would have to be extra so, since his height is actually a disadvantage for his sport.

"Colossus?" ... is a good shout.

Thats some body he has there.

the first thing that came to mind (for some stupid reason) was Maul from...was it WildCATS? Strong Guy is a good one too.

Crusher Creel (Absorbing Man) maybe?

That was my first thought too but he looks like one of those people who just have a face that just looks like a nice guy, know what I mean? Like he doesn't have a mean face, if that makes sense. So I think Strong Guy from X-Factor would be better.

Hah. What's funny about that is, in the forum I found this vid in, there were people who have met him personally, or bought from his store (he owns a health store), and they all say that he's a really calm and quiet guy. Then again, if you are that huge, I don't really think you need to raise your voice around most people to get their attention...

A sentinel :hehe:

Seriously though, Tusk ...

I thought I'd update this thread with this other guy I found. Ironically enough, in his website, he compares himself to the original guy I posted about, Noah Steere: http://www.conanstevens.com/tall-ac...odybuilders-noah-steere-vs-conan-stevens.html

Conan Stevens Is Big Too

But I am not a professional bodybuilder and I never want to be. My aim is to be the biggest action hero ever. Not actor, but Action Hero with a series of Lead Roles - this is where I am heading.

So to compare Noah Steere and myself in terms of physique is a little unfair. I am being asked to compete on his home turf against his strengths.

Some people are rather rude and claim that I am in fact nothing special and should not call myself a bodybuilder. To those people I would like to say Wake The F@#% Up. 7 foot tall and 320 lbs is not a small man. Regardless of whether there are a couple of others out there who are bigger.

I would prefer if people were going to compare physiques then they would compare me with other actors as I am an actor first and foremost - if you want to compare physiques I would rather that I was compared with Tom Cruise (see that would be competing on my home turf to my strengths) - another actor and not a full time bodybuilder like Noah Steere.

Funny thing is, according to his website, he was actually in a large-scale ballet production in the Sydney Opera House, acting on stage. I bet no one calls him a sissy for that. :o

His stats:
  • 7' 1/4" (214cm) Tall Actor
  • 319lbs (145Kg) of Muscle
  • 11 Cinema Release Movies

Robin.

As drawn by Rob Liefield.

I couldn't get past the fact that his head looked too small for his body....so any character where he wears a big mask to make up for it.

He should play Gangreen or the Sleepman in a Marshall Law movie.
