1) Given Clark more problems aka Martha having a new Bf and focusing on Clarks disapproval maybe an arguement with her or something.

2) Should of killed off that Damn kid Give Supes more Drama!!!

3) Hugh Laure made a better Perry White

4) That would of been great if Richard turned out to be a villian

5) BRAINIAC

6) Have J Michael Strazynski & Jeph Loeb write the next script not the 16 year old looking kids

7) A better casting choice for Lois Lane

it's could HAVE...not could of...

...and this could HAVE fit in the complaints sticky at the top. ya didn't have to make a new thread...

Hugh Laurie would've made a much better Perry.

And a super villian.

Superman should have fought polar bears.

And a giant spider.

Sincerely,

J. Peters

I would have seen the movie if he was in it. He is quite possibly one of the best actors out there.

Why? That's not what the movie is about.

And completely alienate a ton of audiences? No parent is going to want their kids see a movie where a child dies.

3) Hugh Laure made a better Perry White
He did?

4) That would of been great if Richard turned out to be a villian
You mean cliche.

5) BRAINIAC
SEQUEL

6) Have J Michael Strazynski & Jeph Loeb write the next script not the 16 year old looking kids
So you think comic writers will do a better job than professional screen writers

Oh, stupid me... that makes much more sense!

It would've added a more humanistic element to Clark, who really did nothing but say monosyllabic, two word phrases.

Well Singer already alienated half the audience as it is by ripping off the Donner movies and adding the kid to begin with . Might as well go for the other half.

I am getting so friggin sick of hearing everyone justify this movie's short comings with "Sequel!"...Everyone said when X-men had no action that it would be in the sequel...where was it? Everyone said that the danger room, sentinals, etc, would be in the sequel...where was it?

So you think comic writers will do a better job than professional screen writers

Yes, at least they understand the character. And since when are hacks like Dougherty and Harris 'professionals'?

And this couldn't have been put in the complaint thread because??

J Michael Strazynski & Jeph Loeb by the way ARE professional screenwriters....and have been screen writers longer than they've been comic writers.....

now that i think about it, hugh laurie would make a great braniac

Borderline.................IMHO.

Some thoughts.....

Superman's journey to Krypton is a recon / rescue mission resulting from the reception of radio signals emanating from the region of the galaxy once populated by Krypton.

He announces to the world that he will be off Earth for 2 to 3 years. Superman using Kryptonian tech creates an un-powered A.I. Clark Kent to take his place in Metropolis.

Comlications prevent him from returning for a much more prolonged period of time(perhaps 10-15 years). Eventually he is presumed dead. When he finally does return to Earth......

1. Martha Kent has passed away.
3. Lex Luthor has been released from prison. Real estate dealings carried out by proxy while he was in prison have made him incredibly wealthy, influential, and allows him to create LuthorCorp.
4. Lois is still single, NOT a mommy, and overjoyed that Superman is back!
5. The A.I. Clark is not willing to let go of his identity!!!!!! and becomes the "villian" in the film.

What'd have made this film interesting is a better story and plot from lex luthor. It screams 1st draft and not too well thought out. why? you ask... I'll tell you later. Now i have to go.
