What Do You Look For in the Opposite Sex???

Physical Attributes:
  • A curvy, yet toned "healthy" body (think Scarlett Johanson, Sophia Bush, Megan Fox, etc.)
  • Proportional build...NO ANOREXICS!!!
  • Blue or green eyes
  • Long Blond or dark brunette hair
  • A glowing smile, you know the kind that sorta makes you feel like its for you and you alone...
  • Long legs
Non-Physical Attributes:
  • Intelligence (she has to be able to talk basic current events, have actual opinions on things like politics and religion, as well as philosophical musings)
  • An outgoing but level headed personality, as in she needs to be able to blend with my friends the way I would try to blend with hers
  • A strong spiritual side
  • MUST have a goofy side, and be willing to be a little sophomoric at times while being able to be a complete "lady" at others...
  • Must be patient with my faults
  • I'd very much like her to work out, not to be shallow, but because I'd love a workout buddy...
Habits/Interests
  • Similar tastes in film and music, and be willing to try new things in those areas.
  • Has to be open to my likes and dislikes especially my affinity for Superman, The Red Sox, the Huskers, and my love of movies...
  • NO SMOKING!!!!
  • Must bake. I can cook, but I cannot bake, so to balance me she has to at least be able to make chocolate chip cookies and a cake...I can handle the rest :D
  • Love of sports would be great...if not that then an urge to learn them is good.
  • NO DRUGS!!!! Never. Ever.
  • Has to actually EAT...no "just a salad for me"...

My beliefs/experiences with the opposite sex have been turned upside down over the past few years. I used to think I knew what I wanted, but now I honestly don't.

  • Muscle tone (not overly freakish like the girl in the pic below, but athletic)

Non-Physical Attributes:
  • Intelligence
  • An outgoing but level headed personality
  • A strong spiritual side
  • Compassion and understanding and the ability to overlook my shortcomings as well as those of others.
  • Similar tastes in film and music (though opposites attract)
  • An overall positive and optimistic view of life and love
  • Doesn't smoke. This is a huge turn-off for me. I watched both my grandmothers succumb to smoking and it's unbearable for me to watch a person smoke.
  • Doesn't drink excessively. One here and there is fine.
  • Eats. A salad is fine, as long as it's a side-dish to a nice steak.
  • Willing to explore new areas sexually.

  • Doesn't smoke. No drugs. I've even quit coke since I've met my *****...and now I dont see how it isnt a disgusting trait.

  • no a demand...but a girl whose good in bed is always a huge plus.

I'm not real picky on skin tone, I love a Hawaiian or Filipino chick, but I love me an Irish girl with freckles and whatnot, too.

  • Curvy, well-balanced figure (think Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lacey Chabert, or Beverley Mitchell)
Non-Physical Attributes:
  • Strong, Bible-based Christian faith (no extremists though)
  • Respects God's premarital rules (integrity is a turn-on for me).
  • Intelligence (but doesn't have a dictionary for a brain)

Looking at these lists, I guess I'm not all that picky. :woot: I'm open to guys who are (in this order) single, straight, intelligent/aware enough to hold a convo with me (apparently this is difficult), where there's mutual interest between us, and he doesn't annoy me.

I think the greatest filter is "mutual interest" and "annoyance." I'm not interested in many guys at all (not to mention most of the guys I think are attractive turn out to be gay..), and most guys frankly just annoy me in the end.

For physical stuff, I'm a sucker for puppy-dog eyes, nice hair, and super-friendly smiles. And I <3 dorks who aren't afraid to be dorky.
 
Any women reading this...if your date takes you to a resturant and you feel like having a steak or a lobster...ORDER IT!
 
Girls that aren't afraid to eat are also something I admire. I don't mean overeating to the point of obesity because I'm not trying to hit that, but not just ordering a meal taking one bite and being "I'm full." My girl right now is on some watermelon-only diet that she created from out of the blue because she wants to lose 20 pounds. I'm like, enough.
 
I'm not picky. So long as she's not a ditsy airhead we'll get along just fine.

Yeah, 'extremely' short term.

Physical attributes- i'm not too picky about , i'm more into personality. So long as the girl isn't the size of Moby Dick and i can pick her up, it's fine.

I do find short hair very attractive like the example below... (not liking the face, just the cut)

I like people who have this laundry list of what they are looking for in a girl and then wind up with something they weren't really expecting.
 
I always thought, It'd have some raven haired/brunette blue eyed white girl and now I'm mostly attracted to mixed girls. :huh:
