What do you think is the Best of Most Iconic Gaming Cheat ever?

jsut a thought since most people use them at one point or another, I just wanted to ask what cheat is probably more famous than any other.

personally, the ones that come to mind are the kings of the older generation consoles sonic and mario in both sequels to their smash hit games...

for sonic it would be the super sonic song cheat which i think is brill.

for mario it would be finding the flute in the first bowser castle in super mario 3 which was shown on a world wide scale during the film, the WIZ.


i can't really think of any other iconic cheats except for the blood cheats in mortal kombat which i remember being quite a big thing.

those are my big three, what are the big cheats that you think have influenced gaming history on a large scale?

Ok The Konami code is a cheat code that appears on Konami games... Check the wikipedia link for it...

Check out that Wiki entry..it'll explain it. Many of Konomi's properties used that code throughout the years. (Contra, Gradius, Lifeforce)

It is the cheat codes that other cheat codes would like to be.
