I'm sure being a mutant in itself has it's benefits, but what kinds of special services and benefits does a freshman student have to look forward to once they're accepted at the institute?

Given, there are some above average accomodations for a coed facility, and other special adaptations for unique physical mutations, what are some of the other amenities that would exceed some of America's prestigous colleges and institutions for higher and above average education?

And provided, they function like most educational schools in terms of curriculum, who determines if and when students go through Danger Room sessions, are there sex-ed classes, who decides if they are hero material or not, if they are accepted on a an X-team, is there any hands on heroism or field study, if the X-Men are in the field - who are the teachers, and what happens once the student graduates? ...Do they offer job placement or some other career "back up plan"?

Note: Pre or post Decimation, it makes no difference. This is a general consensus, and to test your knowledge on how much you know about the X-Mansion and it's protocols.

If this sounds like a stupid thread... my apologies.

anything they would look forward to is outweighed by the high percentage of dying by the end of the week. Enjoy the goodies while they last!

One benifit if your young male or lesbian student, is checking out all the hot senior X-Chicks including a half naked Emma everyday. That in itself could be worth the cost of enrollment.

yea...pretty much seems like anyone they have brought in in the last few years has died off pretty quickly...just leaving the old ones around.

I would've said Rahne Sinclair, but she's gone now, ...

Good questions. I imagine some amount of Danger Room sessions would be a part of basic studies and after that students can choose to take additional combat and survival courses and apply for the pre-X-Men training. The potential future X-Men are most likely picked based on their powers, different merits and the recommendations of their teachers. Most likely there are sex-ed classes, but I can't imagine who is teaching that class.

The smarmy answers would be Scott, Logan, Remy, and poor, neglected Hank.

Seriously, I'm sure Nightcrawler would've had a bit to say before going priestly, and even then. I'd be interested in taking his theater class, though. Dramatic entrances, indeed.
