What drives you nuts about the way some people drive?

I also hate the people that wait until the last minute to get out of a lane that's closed, like they can't see the damn flashing lights at the end of a string of orange signs that say "lane closes in X feet"

Or they speed up to get in front of more traffic. I don't let those people in. I will let people in front of me that I know have been waiting to get in and when a lane is closed I do the let one in front of you go rule but if I see someone speeding up in the closed lane to get ahead of more traffic...I either match their speed or get close behind the person in front of me so that they cannot merge

If it's on the interstate and people are passing on the shoulder, I get halfway into the shoulder to cut em off.

This is what I was going to put. It's the single thing that drives me the most nuts when I'm driving.

I hate it when people constantly slam on their brakes. This one guy a few days ago kept slamming on his brakes and there were no cars in front of him and he was going slower than the speed limit. It pissed me off.

On a street with two lanes of ongoing traffic, two cars want to drive right next to each other, without one of the cars even trying to acknowledge all of the traffic being built up around him. This is 90% of the reason why traffic starts from the get-go.

I love it how I'm doing the speed limit on the highway...All the other 4 lanes across me are EMPTY but some jerk gets mad cause he is behind me and I'm not going 20 miles over the speed limit...so he goes onto the next lane and cuts me offf dry and speeds off.....even though there were 4 empty lanes, some people

I think for some people that's just some type of power trip. I'm in the slow lane on the expressway doing 80, yet I'm still too slow for you.

If you're in the left most lane that's the fast/passing lane. Common courtesy dictates you shouldn't "stay" in that lane...and if you must then you should move out of the way when a faster car comes up behind you. Sure the guy had room in the other lanes and didn't need to cut you off, but you shouldn't have been there.

When people don't use their signals when making a a left turn. Then when the light turns green and you're stuck behind them and cant go around

Also when *******s don't stop at 2 way stops and just roll through looking in the wrong direction, oblivious to you going through the intersection.

I might sound mean but old drivers....some are just to dangerous to drive one of them nearly hit me at this roundabout, I was in the right lane and they where not could tell as soon as there car came towards my side could see in my side mirror so I like beeped my horn and swore...I know bad but he was like inces away from hitting me.


But over the last year since I've had my car I have notice I get more and more annoyed at people who so can't drive or don't indicate at roundabouts or drive slower then the speedlimit etc

I once had an old guy try to drive me down in a crosswalk. I managed to jump out of the way in time.

I was able to catch him, when he parked his car a few blocks down the road. I told him he was either going to call his family or I would call the cops.

Even if he did almost hit you, harassing a senior citizen wouldn't garner too much sympathy either. When they do screw up behind the wheel, they get a slap on the wrist.

Perhaps I should have said "If you WERE in the left most lane..." as that's what I was getting at...since I wasn't sure what lane you were in.

i passed my driving test literally 2 hours ago...

i'm going to take in all these comments and becometh the worst driver ever...
