How do I know the alien is telling me the truth?

If I am sent to the dimension of "Hell" (Definitions vary based on theological perspective), then how am I going to be released upon the end of my stay? Once I am there, how do I know that whoever (or whatever) has me there will see to my release? Upon my release (if released), will I be medically fit? Will I have received torture during my sojurn to this "Hell"?

It is important that we address the variables involved with this sort of travel to an unknown region. An alien that has the ability to perform this activity on a person, would likely have the knowledge to help to avert a catastrophe that would deal this seemingly difficult blow to the human race.
