Doubtful, sometimes animation takes longer to do then expected, especially with stuff that seems to be pretty high quality animation.

I don't recall ever hearing about the blade anime. Did marvel ever release a trailer for it like they did with wolverine and Iron Man?

no trailers for the Blade one, I just remember it being listed as one of the 3 Anime's being released in January/Feburary of 2010 but nothing ever came of them.
