Blade Runner - saw it in the theater when i was a kid...can't sit thru it now tho..

The Thin Red Line -:sleepy::sleepy:

Taxi Driver - saw it in film class and was bumped becuz i was snoring..

El Mariachi - still can't tell you what its about

LOTR (any of them) - i tried...man did i try.

SIDE NOTE: Test of endurance....

How far did you get in watching 2001 A Space Odessey?

I get to the part where the cavemen throw the bone in the air and it switches to the spaceship...then i can't take no more..:sleepy::sleepy:

I don't know how acclaimed it is but I still didn't saw entire JFK

Stone's movies in general are almost impossible to get through (with exception of NBK which I adore) - I started Nixon last Friday but after 30 minutes of 210 minute runtine I decided to just fast forward to Ed Harris' scene and stop the madness :funny:

Read the subtitles and pay attention. It's a simple film.

Wolf On Wallstreet

My Dad and I both saw it and if either of us talked during movies, we would have walked out in the first thirty minutes because it was torturous to both of us. And the only other in theaters movie that reaction has happened with is Last Airbender - but luckily at home, so I just turned that off. I don't know what it is, just there's something about that movie that really rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is intolerable to me. Shakespeare in Love isn't much better.

It's more obscure, but Cries and Whispers is the most boring movie I've ever seen.

Apocolypse Now: I only saw Redux (I saw it in theaters as I saw Harrison Ford on the poster) and I've heard the original's supposed to be better but after having been bored so by Apoc Now Redux I just can't bring myself to watch the original.

I really struggled to get through Inside Out.

The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I tried several times...

Titanic- I've seen documentaries on the Titanic that were far more interesting.

The Sound of Music- I suffered through the '65 version, and sat in agony during the 2013 version because my daughter wanted me to watch it. The historical events are much more interesting than the stylized storytelling.

In the Woods- I'm a tough sell with musicals, and I thought this film would never end.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show- I guess it was supposed to be funny, but I didn't find the characters interesting at all, and the music drove me crazy.

Bridesmaids- It didn't put me to sleep, but I had high expectations due to the critical approval. It was bogged down by telegraphed, extended jokes that didn't seem particularly inspired.

Was Hoffa ever critically acclaimed? No lie, it took me 4 tries to watch the entire thing on Netflix. I'd watch 20-30 minutes and be falling asleep.

Avatar.

Literally, I remember nodding off at some time near the halfway point.

It Follows was a chore to get through man. Here's the thing, I dont mind slow movies at all as long as the CHARACTERS are engaging and the actors playing them play them with charisma. It Follows had none of that, the characters were laborious robots that gave me nothing to latch onto and made the movie rough to get through.

The English Patient :o

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

2001 is one of my favorite sci fi movies so I could never fall asleep on that.

Magnolia. Several times. And I enjoy the movie too...I just suck about falling asleep when watching movies sometimes.

Weird thing about Magnolia is that the first time I saw it, I had NO idea it was 3 hours long. I looked at my watch when it was over (back when watches were a thing) and I was like, "WTF?" I was so into it and the movie (IMO) was brilliantly paced. But upon repeat viewings, I can see why it would put people to sleep.

Age Of Innocence. Still can't stand that movie.
