I saw a sig that said Chamber and Jubilee will be missed? What did they do to my favorite asian SoCal hipster mutie freak?

Jubilee was one of the mutants that got depowered on M-Day. She is no longer a mutant, the x genome was erased from her by the powers of the Scarlett Witch.

She's currently working as a political activist in New York City.

...who's to embarrased and saddened to call the mansion and let them know of her whereabouts.

Apparantly her realtionship with the X-Men now is going to be addressed in upcoming issues of Wolverine.

was this confirmed, and where did you hear it? Are you talking about Wolverine: Origins?

Yeah, it's Wolverine: Origins, the writer has confirmed she will be involved, but to what extent, we don't know yet. Too bad she'll still be powerless...

Well, that sucks.

Then again, her powers were always extremely vaguely defined and sort of sucky, so they shant be missed.

yeah that was my sig, jubilee and chamber were both depowered after m-day and they were two of my favorite characters

I hated Jubilee.... but I will miss Chamber.

I disliked her in everything else except genx which made her cool in my book

I always liked Jubilee but this is based on the cartoon version where I mostly know of her from. A shame she was depowered. Wasn't it said that she had a lot of potential to be one of the most powerful mutants but that really wouldn't have happen until much later on in her life. Shame that never got any play.

I'm going to have to pick up the Wolverine issues that deal with her then to see what happens. It was sad that she was to embarassed and saddened to let the X-men know about her, especailly Logan. Who it seemed like she really wanted to call but then just broke down crying.

I hated cartoon Jubilee but she's not so bad in the comics. Its just I'd rather have Kitty Pryde, whom Jubilee basically ripped off as a character.

She was basically in limbo for quite a while anyway so its not surprising she wasn't one of the 198.

Jubilee will probably be back in full force with powers, as Marvel has held to almost zilch of the repurcussions M Day caused.

Let's just hope they don't have this track record with the changes in store with Civil War.

who knows maybe she will stay depowered and become one of those human friends of the x-men

What happened to Jubilee?

She gets swallowed up by Abyss Jr.

Oh wait, that hasn't happened yet. Damn time paradoxes.

Same here. A lot of my likes about X-men come from that series. Though I hope Jubes is still included in the X-books as I don't think they should rely on her powers to give her stories. I'm gutted for Chamber as well. I thought he had some great potential now he had been healed but then they go and screw him over, I mean he's practicaly dead.

Jubliee was always a resourceful character, and is a olympic level gymnast. there are plenty of superheroes in the marvel universe without any superhuman powers.

I reckon since Jubilee is now a political activist we can expect her to become either a future political vigalante (something on the likes of the Black Cat, Mockingbird, etc). Or she may end up joining SHIELD.

Did anyone else enjoy the Jubilee centred issue of X-men:Unlimited? I did. Not the most action orientated comic I've read but I thought the stories were nice.

In regards to the story with Skin and Jubes being roomies while she looked for acting gigs, I can see how that could link to her feeling guilty after he died because she turned him down when he asked her out. I read the Unlimited comic I thought there was the possibility for chemistry in that situation. I can only imagine how Skin fans felt when he died.
