What if Joss Whedon wrote/directed it?

It would have been awesome  The cure would have been done so nicely. And maybe we would have seen Beast thinking about taking it and him and Wolvvy having that awesome fight.

It would be ab-so-f***ing-lute-ly amazing. ( I am assuming he rewrites a script of his choosing)

File this under SPECULATION. I really don't know, and I guess we will never know.

I think it would have been superior.

Hmm, I don't know. He probably would've left once he saw the limited time and the constant annoyance of Fox over his shoulder.

Since he's concentrating on Wonder Woman, I highly doubt he would've taken the job in the first place.

Would've been great - but would've been a year from now by the time it was released and Fox along with Jackman and Donner weren't having that. **** Fox and their politics!

That's why Joss would've left. But we can't blame Jackman at all, he was just given a job and he did his job as an actor. I highly doubt he was involved with any of the politics of the films.

If anything, your anger and blame should go to Rothman.

See, that's the key. Many directors would tell the studio hell no. I can't bash Ratner too much; because, maybe he could have done better if he would have had more time. Although his "ADD style" (his words not mine) would probably still be there.

I ****ing loved that part!

Yes, it would've been awesome if Joss Whedon directed X3. He would've FIGHT for it. Perhaps a longer runtime and a better storytelling, too. The Cure storyline would've been much better and also, the so-called "Dark Phoenix saga", too.

Who's to say Ratner, Kinberg, and Penn didn't fight? Sometimes you can fight and still not get your way, hence why Singer got tired of the politics and left for Superman Returns.

Mark Steven Johnson even said how strict and clueless Fox is. He spoke about how he wanted to go with the classic Daredevil costume, but they said no, due to it looking "silly" and not very realistic. Fox executives are clueless when it comes to comic book movies.

Why do you think MSJ went to Ghost Rider and is under Sony?

So again, Joss probably would've left once he saw the limited filming time and being viewed under a microscope by Fox.

Oh no, not that one.

Mark spoke on it in the commentary. He expressed disappointments of not using the real Dardevil costume and having it be similar to Spider-Man(skin type, showing the definition).

Even though Fleck did nothing to get in shape, hence why Fox probably went with the design they went with. But yes, I was talking about the red classic version.

Whedon is overrated just like Singer is.

I'll admit, I havent' seen anything Whedon, but Singer?

Singer ---------- V.----------- Ratner
X1----------------------------Rush Hour
X2 ---------------------------Rush Hour... 2
The Usual Suspects -----------Rush Hour... 3
Apt Pupil --------------------- A Madonna video (Buetiful Stranger)

Yeap.

I stand corrected.

It would have sucked.

It would have been all the X-Men hanging around, making silly jokes to each other, and making pop-culture references left and right. Then Kitty would have shown some horrible martial arts kicking skills, and then more talking, and finally the end would come and we could all get away.

I hate Whedon's writing. It's cruddy. All he does is scrape up old plotlines and rehash them, so people praise him for the feel-good nostaligia, but don't realize he's just rewriting what Chris Claremont wrote twenty years ago, but with more updated pop culture references and snarky jokes.

Damn, he sucks. He can stick with Buffy, thanks.

The cheesy one-liners probably would have stayed.
