Since Halloween is not that far off and the restart of the franchise comes out next year, I decided to start a poll based on the Halloween series. So what is your favorite Halloween movie?
Mr. Walters said:I voted for Halloween. It is not only the best Halloween film, it is the best slasher film, and one of the best horror films ever made. Here is my run down for the rest...

Let's just say that it should not be called Halloween, because it has NOTHING to do with the first too.cryptic name said:what exactly is the story of halloween 3?

I felt that this one was the most suspenseful film of the eight, with some of the best story-telling I've seen in a HORROR movie. The scenes in which Dr. Loomis talks to Michael are genuinely creepy. Although the mask was different from the masks from the first two films, I found it the scariest because it was unusually plain-looking. I also liked the ending in which Michael is shot numerous times and the earth caves in under his feet. It had a somewhat poetic or romantic sense to it, as if he was so evil, that Hell itself opened a hole in the earth specifically for him. Of course, they had to ruin that for me by making a Halloween 5. But still, if I pretend that Halloween 5 and up didn't exist, it's a very nice ending to Michael Myers.
