If you inherited $100,000 and were told that you could only spend the money to start a legitimate working business for a decent return on the money, what kind of business would you start?

Serious answers only please.

The money cannot be put into the bank, invested in stocks, but HAS to be used to start and run a business.

Id sell coke to the kids.
Cause you know theres good money in that and i have no morals. And kids are an easy target. Do i car what it does to their health? **** no. Do i care if they get addicted and become unhealthy little scumbags? Nope.

So in closing, id open a shop and sell coca cola.

Parking lot business. You have a small number of employees, a good surveillance equipment and money's coming in 24/7.

24 Hour Comic Book, Collectible store that had alcohol and strippers in it.

Where the strippers dress as comic book characters?

That would actually be a gold min if you could get the shy nerds to leave their houses.

A place Where everybody knows your name.

and they're always glad you came..

ive been told that the mini storage business is very good and profitable. anyone have any insight into that?

Ok Zaed. Seriously, start a retail online business. Find someone or an company that can build you a website and then find a webhost.

If it was me I would sell socks. Thats right SOCKS!

Socks for infants, children, and both Men and women. Novelty socks for different occasions, like Holidays, sports related, maybe even custom made. Find them from a wholesaler like "Alibaba.com". I'm sure there are many others.

Trust me, it will work.

if the chiuck dresses up as a comic character they'll forkover for the comic and the show.

and i rather open up a comic/gaming store.

I'd like to open up a little bistro. Something cute and romantic, with some awesome food. I would attempt to make it community oreinted, too. Have family events and local musicians perform.

A small law firm, with a view to expanding and growing all the time.

Of course, there aren't many who could start up a law firm. :p

Coffee and doughnut shop. Those things are a gold mine.

Me and my brother have always said if one of us wins the lottery we are opening up our own Comic/Sci-Fi/Collectibles store.

I'd open a comic book store across the street from Eides Entertainment and put them out of business because those guys who work there are jerk offs. :cmad:

Id start my own animation studio and give all my friends jobs.
Then I'd fire the ones who pissed me off or forgot my birthday.

what else... a god damn bar....

bringin Punk Rock back to it's home... New York City.

Some awesome comic shop place where it would be awesome and stuff and have everything cool and tons of useless fun ****....

Yeah..

I would start a production company and help co-fund another production companys films (you know who you are)

I would produce horror movies for 20,000-25,000 (not the films I write, that is too low a budget for them) and short films around 8,000-15,000 (I could amke my short film script for this much money) I would then send the feature films to film festivals (Toronto, that one horror festival in LA, etc) and the short films to short film festivals. If I can't find a distributer, the production company I would help co-fund movies has one.
