What kind of Earphones you guys using for your MP3 Players???

Big ass poofie ones. I look like a air traffic controller.

If I'm using earbuds they have to be the in ear style with a silicone or rubber adapter...otherwise they feel too uncomfortable for me to use. The iPod standard issue is a prime example of a piece of crap earbud IMO...they are hard and very uncomfortable to my ear.

I used to use the Sony MDR-EX51LP until they ripped into 15 different pieces(I don't get why they make the wire so sensitive). I was supposed to go pick up a pair of JVC marshmallows today but I got lazy. This thread is quite helpful for me actually.

I don't really dig those JVC marshmallows. I don't like having to form the foam to fit into my ear. I'm more of a stick it in w/no worries kinda guy (:o).

Those Skullcandy earbuds look NIiice!

Sennheiser is very good as well.

I used to have these Sennheisers:

They were pretty good for their purpose.

Here's a bunch of headphones with reviews...mostly from a DJ perspective but make of it what you will. http://www.turntablelab.com/dj_equipment/71/144/
Have these. LOVE these. Am wearing these right now. They've got natural noise-cancellation. I have no sound coming through them at the moment, and I can barely hear myself type. The sound is terrific on them. I'm not a hardcore audiophile, but I can't stand the sound on most earbuds. (Nevermind the fact that my ear canals are oddly shaped and no earbud on earth will fit in my ear..) Actually, I refuse to buy songs off iTunes since the quality is meh and I can tell, if that shows you how much I like good sound...

The only drawback is that I have a large head, so my jaw starts aching after wearing these for about an hour. If you have a small head, that shouldn't be a problem. :oldrazz:

Sony Studio Monitor Series Headphones
Model MDR-V150
The only type of headphones I use for anything. I don't spend any less than about 25 bucks for headphones. You might think it's stupid, I'm sure. But the only time these bad boys mess up is if I sit/step on them. Which I've done 3 times. But the longest pair of these I had was probably two years.

The little ear thingys fall out of my ears.

Headphones all the way.

I went ahead and bought some in-ear headphones for my MP3 player, since I was having problems with them- namely being one wouldn't stay in the ear right.

I bought these at Target for 30 bucks and they sound great, and they stay in the ear tons better than the buds.

And I found that pic on an outdoor shop's website. Hearing protection while shooting

I was thinking of getting those but it got bad reviews on Amazon

I've been reading the reviews also.

Most of the complaints have been regarding the cords, and some for the sound. I have no complaints with the sound, they sound good to me. Besides, if you want better than good sound from headphones, put down the earbuds and get the earmuffs.

The cables are a bit annoying, but then again that's a problem with every cable. The assymetrical wiring does take some time to get just right. I'll see how it does Tuesday night when I use it at work.

I keep standing on them though, I'm on my third pair.
