What manga/Anime title will Hollywood **** up next?

If they're smart they will adapt a Cowboy Bebop movie. Although I think DBZ is going to tank so bad that I think will probably shy away from future adaptations. At least for a while. I have heard Akira is in the works but I just don't think the story along with most other Anime stories will appeal to mainstream American audiences.

I too think Cowboy Bebop would work really well in real life. At least the main character is already white, and they won't have to change as Asian guy into a white guy in order to risk "alienating" the US audience (a total BS assumption, IMO).

Hopefully the rumors about Keanu Reeves playing Spike are false, The last thing I want to see Spike doing is forcefully spewing a bunch of lines with the same inanimate face throughout the movie.

if Hollywood continues with their anime to live action screw ups then they should just stop. if they need to do more screwy adaptations though, they need to stay away from Ninja Scroll, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Akira.

The Guver had 2 movies, both weren't bad. I'm still waiting on a third.

I have never heard any of that before. I use to really like the show back in the day. I watched it on CN like everyone else did, but I'm really old school. I watched it when it aired on USA right after Savage Dragon or Ultraforce I think.

It would be nice to see another Guyver, part 2 being straight to video did offer good action scenes and a better story, the tone was also more serious. I'd like to see Big O in live action for some reason, I dunno. I always like the way the cartoon looked.

I just watched that recently. the first movie would be wicked with giant robot action, the last two would be laughed at as the kids go emo. I understood that last movie for it, but dang was it funny.

Hollywood doesnt look at anime as something special, they just see all of that as quick cash ins. I remember when I watched the live action version of Fist of the North Star, instantly pissed.
