What next for the WWE, does it have a reason to exist?

Cena came back, what more do you need for stupid? I know he's over, but really, he sucks, lets not kid ourselves.

I wish Cena would have stayed gone longer, but I suppose his return was inevitable.

If TNA could only get it together, they have the talent...but more importantly...Nash

It always goes thru hot spurts and cold spurts. We're just in a cold one right now. It's reminiscent of WCW where the same few people are at the top and no one younger with talent has much room to move up the ladder. Guys like HHH and Cena are great, don't get me wrong, but guys like Jeff Hardy and CM Punk need to be at the top with them. Granted Hardy is getting a push, but I don't see him winning the belt anytime soon.

Interesting choice of words considering you're talking about sweaty, oiled up, muscular men grabbing each other and rolling around, clutched to one another.

:p

Damn, I missed the post with all the spurting.:wow:

I used to watch WWE (and yes I do know it's fake; it's just silly entertainment but fun one at that). However, the main reason I watched it was because of Kurt Angle, who not only knows how to wrestle but is also a very charismatic actor as well. After he left for TNA, though, I stopped watching WWE. However, I stopped watching wrestling completely and have not catch Angle on TNA. I don't think WWE is worth watching anymore.

Angle is now insane and full of steroids, you're not missing anything.

I've not watched it for years. I went to Summer Slam in London and it was awesome though. Hart vs Bulldog was great, and I felt very unpatriotic cheering for Hitman :p

That is how i feel . He came back , threw storylines out of synch , and was mercilessly booed but will still be forced in our faces. His unbeatable quality makes the show predictable and boring .

They should turn him full fledged heel. I didn't mind the guy when he was an a-hole (minus the sh-tty rapping).

Do you guys go to any of the Spoiler Wrestling Sites?

Oh yeah, I hate how every PPV ended with John Cena overcoming the odds. When he was first injured and heard he would be out for 6 months was "Knowing the WWE, he'll overcome the odds and be back next week."

wrestlingnewsworld.com is by far the best and not full of tabloid-esque bull****.

Yeah, the Rocky Balboa thing is a little redundant and ridiculous. I have no personal qualms with the guy, but it's time for the spotlight to be redirected.

I can't see why the PPV shows are a success.

Their numbers are way down, compared to previous years. However prices have gone up. 'Wrestlemania 24' is going to be $54.95. That's ****ing ludicrous. I usually only watch the big 4 (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam and Survivor Series). Luckily for me, I end up splitting the tab with a few friends so it isn't too bad. However, 15-16 PPVs a year is too damn much. PPVs were more exciting when they only happened quarterly.

It's a dying business model as well as a dying "sport". Will you pay $55 for Wrestlemania.
