You ever wonder what other people think of you every now and then?

Now I know that a person really shouldn't get a damn about what another person thinks of them, but at the same time you can't help but wonder sometimes whether or not a person thinks highly of you or if they hate your guts.

Others think I'm magnificent, and I'll hear nothing of the contrary.

:yay: That's good attitude.

:o I'm sorry--why should I care about what *strangers* think about me..? It's not like I'm running for president here

Yea I don't give a toss really. But that doesn't mean I don't try to be a nice person to everyone. Unless they piss me off that is! :D

I've learned to be quite phlegmatic about what others think about me. Since I cannot control it, other than being a wholly decent person, I try not to let others affect what I do or how I behave.

No, because it doesn't matter to me. All I know is, I try to be the best that I can be and that's good enough for me. I realize I can't please everyone or make everyone happy. That's alright with me. I treat others as I want to be treated and give them the respect that I feel is due to them as a fellow human being... until they give me a reason not to.

So much easier to quote than to write the same thing out using different words.

Aww... c'mon, Eggy. I want to 'hear' you 'say' the same thing, but with your sexy English 'accent'.

I think that everyone cares to a certain extent, but part of the process is realizing how to balance criticism (fair or unfair) with the proper view of self.

Quite!

Well, my dear chapess. Let us begin!

People who are unfamiliar with me, simply don't know me... so what they think of me is quite irrelevant. I believe we should treat others with the respect we wish to be treated ourselves... and also realise that nobody can be fully appreciated by all, so it is best to be who you feel you truly are with no compromises.

Crumpet?

That's beautiful. Since the content and message is the same as mine, I totally agree!

Yes, please. Tea, too?

Eggyman and Dbella,

Could you take this to a private thread, I hate PDA's. :o

Looks like someone has a problem and it ain't mine.
:o

Tea and crumpets?

Why are people comfortable with watching violence and hate it when they see people being nice to each other? :cmad:

I've been out of the thread for nearly ten minutes and get greeted with a load of red smilies. What the hell's going on? And what's a 'PDA'?

:cmad: <-- obligatory.

PDA = Public Display of Affection
:cmad:

Ahh. What the hell's wrong with that?

UA, are you a humanoid?

No. Lonely.

PDA's remind me of what I lack in life.

Kinda like when a pregnant woman shares her good news with her sterile sister. :(

There used to be a time when I tried to please everyone, and make everyone like me, but that was too much effort, now if you like me great, if you don't, I don't give a ****.

:csad:

Do you like spiders?

I like spiders very much.

I don't have a general fear of any insects or arachnids.

I do dislike looking at tapeworms and other parasites though.

I had a cat once that came to me as a stray. She was still in kitten-stage and the vet thought she was pregnant, because she had a bulging middle.

Turns out, she wasn't pregnant. When she threw up on the carpet, a good cup or better of various kinds of parasites came out and was crawling around.

I'm still in recovery over that one.
