What Should Never Had Been

personally my hate(though thats too strong a word lack of caring may be better) for twilight comes from, the bad characters, the really bad message it sends and the lack of credibly story( yeah i know transformers could be the same) but at least some of the dumb "guy" movies don't think they are anything they are not

twilight fans class the series as the second coming and when you point out it's flaws don't just defend it but go insane. watch the films its amazing how bella is simply the villain of the piece yet is played as this angel that can do no wrong.

i know its an old argument but the books have really warped a generation of girls perspective on what is a healthy relationship

plus the fact it has ruined the classic monsters more than anything in history so far

A faithful Hellsing adaption could serve as damage control, yes?

Does anyone else think that Planet of the Apes and Lost in Space were not profitable to be released?

the Human Centipede movies.... glad that the 2nd one is not getting a Classification here in the UK and is looking to be banned under the Obscene.... something or other.... act, making it illegal to sell it here.

anyone that had anything to do with the filth should be assessed for mental health issues...

An American version of Godzilla was not necessary. But the animated series was wonderful!
I liked a few parts of the movie, but the series was just awesome. Wish it hadn't gotten lost during the Pokemon/Digimon war and had kept going.

I think a lot of the hate for the Twilight movies actually comes from the zaniness and bad writing of the books, whereas the Transformers come from the 1980's which is more or less off limits for hate in modern times.
My hate for Twilight comes from the fans who like most Harry Potter fans I know think that if you don't like it then you are the stupidest being alive and need o die for not admiring some terrible heroine and some d-bag of what is clearly a fairy, and the fact that I read the first book and absolutely hated it. It was like reading a dictionary of how sparkly and 'handsome' Cullen is. Oye. I don't mind the few fans I find who don't go overboard with it's fandom and accept that not everyone cares for it.

And with Transformers, I think the hate comes from the fact that not a lot of people know that much about it story and character wise. Cause, like you said, it's form the 80's. Only the people who grew up in the 80's will really understand some of it, so to everyone else it all seems like utter nonsense and a nice way of Hollywood to appeal to a majority of the male populace with 3 things: Sexy women, cars, and explosions.

It's sickening just reading what that movies about . I'll never intentionally look at something that disgusts me , let alone sit through up to 90 minutes of nastiness. I can stomach standard horror but this one crosses the line for me.

I'm curious to know why studio execs think its worth making such films.

just curious how much of it have you actually seen. i will admit to not seeing the film but a load of reviews and 99% all saw that the shock horror is all in the concept

the film lacks any form of gore and of the "surgery" is done off screen and the victims all wear bandages

80's slasher have more gore and violence. much like chainsaw massacre the disturbing aspect is all in the hype
