What the hell...? Help with DVD picture problem...

Okay so I bought Ghost Rider on DVD this morning and watched it. It was fine. Nothing really happened that was weird.

I'm now watching it with the commentary on and I got to a seen in the jail where he's Ghost Rider and on one side of the screen in one small area where his fire hits...his left side's fire turns...purpleish/pinkish then fades and comes back. Really easy to see it change when on pause. The change takes a minute or so each time.

I didn't notice this today, and surley I would've have noticed it in theaters with ugly ass purple standing out. It's not a thing the CGI team did, I just watched the clip on Youtube and it doesn't happen.

Is this my DVD? Is it a faulty DVD? Is it my TV?

My PS2 and Xbox 360 have the same results so it can't be the DVD player I'm using...

Well, what type of TV do you have, has this happened at all with other content (DVDs or regular TV viewing), do you have a surround sound setup?

There's a magnetic pull at the pixels on your TV screen. Either there is/was magnets from speakers, fridge magnets etc close, touching or beside the TV or it happened before and you permanently damaged your TV. Try playing in on another TV or computer.

It's got that Z on it so I'm gonna guess it's a Zenith or whatever. No surround sound. I haven't noticed the color problem latley...not since then...

Heh, no magnets have ever been near my TV. All I have is a 360 and Wii on either side and a cable box on top.
