Comics What was the comic before New X Men Academy X?

wer'ent Elixer, Hellion, Wither and the rest of the kids in another book before Acacdemy X? Also, it's hard to get comics where I live, how many TPB's of academy x and whatever the prequel to it was there?

the relaunch of new mutants. thats where they were all introduced, except for dust and x-23.

NEW MUTANTS vol 2- The Ties that Bind

during the X-MEN Reload move, the title relaunched as NEW X-MEN ACADEMY X

NEW X-MEN: ACADEMY X vol 1- Choosing Sides
NEW X-MEN: ACADEMY X vol 2- Haunting
NEW X-MEN: ACADEMY X vol 3- X-Posed
NEW X-MEN: ACADEMY X vol 4- House Divided

vol 4, was the house of m tie in. after house of m and decimation took effect, the academy x subtitle was dropped

NEW X-MEN vol 5- Childhood's End
NEW X-MEN vol 6- Crusade
NEW X-MEN vol 7- Nimrod

crusade just wrapped up and will be in tpb shortly, Nimrod is the upcoming story

For the TPBs, I heard that it was incredibly hard to find the volume 2 trade, is that still the case? And are the two trades complete? Like were there any more issues or did it just go to New X-Men?
