What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

The Incredible Hulk - the cast is nice but it feels weird seeing the Incredible Hulk being played by someone that isn't Mark Ruffalo. Even though Gen. Ross have appeared in other mcu films, this film doesn't feel like a mcu film. It sticks out like a sore thumb just because the Hulk was played by someone else. I hope Liv Tyler returns in the mcu someday.

Ant-Man

So I still have 16 movies left to watch in my MCU Marathon Rewatch and after rewatching just 7 seven films, I'm already having a hard time reranking these movies. Captain America, Captain Marvel and Ant-Man are all in the same level especially with a weak lead villain. However I used to find The First Avenger really bland but I think I'm not as critical to it compare before, especially I have been eXposed to Peggy, Steve and Bucky through the years in other films. Though I still feel like ranking it below Ant-Man and Captain Marvel, there's just something so vanilla about the film. I don't know if I should put The Incredible Hulk in last because I liked it more than the First Avenger in the past, but its the one film out of the older films that doesn't age well simply because the Hulk isn't Mark Ruffalo and the Hulk here looks different. The color grading didn't help too. Doctor Strange is easily my favorite out of the 7, so thats easy #1. Black Panther as second as it felt more unique and dynamic than Thor. I really liked Thor before but just like Incredible Hulk it doesn't age very well, especially we have gotten better films since this one first came out. Though I have to say, I think the mcu gets a lot of flack for having the same old formula in their films but these films don't really feel like carbon copies of each other. There are similarities like the flat humour and endless references/cameos, but I can easily distinct these films from one another. I also feel like movies like Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, Thor and Black Panther wouldn't have earned the same sucess had they went to another studio and a different producer.

I'm watching Iron Man, Spider-Man and Guardians next. Then the 2quels/3quels. While Im saving the Avengers for the very last.

It has its moments. Bizarrely, this felt rather overly traditionalist and typical for an Evil Dead movie, what with its innumerable jump scares and ghostly apparitions of a girl in a white dress. The original, on the other hand, was rather radical for the time.

I love it. I think it's worthy of the Evil Dead title. It's mean and fun, and Jane Levy is a trooper!

Anyway...

Willow (dir. Ron Howard)
Conspiracy Theory (dir. Richard Donner)
Avengers: Endgame (dir. Anthony Russo, Joe Russo)

I liked it too. 8 out of 10 for me. I'd rank it above Army of Darkness but still below 2,1 and the series.

I'd also rank it below "Army of Darkness," but it's still a great reboot and addition to the series.
