I prefer this version to the comic (I seem to be in the minority!). What did you think?

I kind of like it a bit more than the comic as well. The story has always been fine and had some cool elements, but I do feel the film kind of handled the overall story better & made it a tad more interesting for me.

How to Blow Up a Pipeline

Not since The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, have I got spoiled by the title of the movie.

MY FULL REVIEW
4.5/5

Da uomo a uomo / Death Rides a Horse (1967)
Caccia alla volpe / After the Fox (1966)
Backdraft (1991)
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Renfield (2023)

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 loved it as one person said it was his fave of the 3 and I have to agree it had equal parts action, humor, and emotional stuff. I loved the minor characters like Cosmo the space dog and Kraglin.

Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop

Obviously intended to kickstart another TV 'cosy crime' series. Nathalie Cox is unfortunately both bland and cold as wealthy mystery solver Miss Willoughby, trained in military strategy and martial arts since childhood after the deaths of her parents (very 'Batman' - she even lives in a ridiculously large, isolated mansion); but co-lead Kelsey Grammer is watchable as ever as her Alfred-like assistant/mentor, Robert. You'll probably see the solution to this paranormal head scratcher coming a mile away, but it passes the time well enough. Not sure I can see this becoming a hit franchise. 6/10.
