This is the third film i've seen staring Deborah Foreman .
I was too young to appreciate or notice her work in the 80s, but looking at her films now, she was great.

Even though the story finished up perfectly, I'd still would love to see Cruise and Blunt in a sequel. On the other hand it's almost refreshing with flicks like these that automatically doesn't get sequels these days. One thing I always loved with this story is that for once in an action movie Cruise is an under dog (well, at least in the beginning).

The Batman

First rewatch since I saw it in the cinema. This time I split it over two nights (pausing where Batman and Gordon explore the orphanage - exactly half-way through the movie). Pacing on the first half was absolutely fine; it's definitely the second half where things feel a little slow and drawn out in places.

Pattinson is fantastic throughout though, Kravitz is very good (a lot better than I thought she'd be), Farrell is a revelation, and Wright and Serkis bring their usual class. The only one that didn't work for me is Paul Dano's Riddler. I get he's supposed to be that unremarkable guy who's been ignored his whole life, but I still feel he needed more presence. I never found him truly menacing. Oh, the running gag with the two meatheads on the club door felt really out of place. Other than that, pretty damn great. 9/10
