The movies just had so many great, fantastic and hilarious bits. I will have to watch the Movie several times so I can recall them all.

Hulk easily had some of the best moments in the Movie. The one that will always be unforgettable, is him punching Thor out of frame, after they both brought the Leviathan down. :lmao:

The best scene in the movie is the tracking shot that zooms from each Avenger to the next, which actually leads right into the Hulk Smash Thor scene

That one was just hilarious...actually...so many; I just saw the movie like an hour ago...I'm still shocked....

:woot:

Polux

That shot was so awesome. I can't even begin to describe the electricity in the packed theatre during that shots. I mean, grown men and women were flat out hooting/cheering/fist pumping/applauding at the screen during that. It was the single greatest moment of my superhero fan life.

Cap "sonning" a SHIELD pilot into giving up a Quinjet for his team
"Why should I follow your orders?"
The old man standing up to Loki in Germany, followed by Cap's BDH moment, followed by Iron Man's BDH moment
The tracking shot of awesome
"Puny god."
Loki's Hannibal Lecture towards Black Widow
Cap diving into the Iron Man/Thor battle, and interrupting it with a shield toss
Iron Man vs Thor
Hulk vs Thor
"I'm always angry."
Cap saving civilians during the final battle
The underpowered heroes kicking ass on the ground
Cap giving orders to the team

Let's see ...

Hulk obliterating Loki.
Hulk playfully punching Thor off the Leviathon.
Hulk obliterating one of the Leviathons with one punch.
The "Galaga" scene.
Thor vs. Hulk
Thanos
Loki yelling at the people in Germany to kneel.
End of the movie where Tony is lying on the ground and the Avengers are hovered around him. (so freakin' hilarious)

A scene I really like that people haven't brought up much is after Hawkeye says he needs the eye scan, and Loki in the suit with scarf just casually strolls into the museum and savagely kills the guy

Haha ya I remember that ... I was laughing.

"Please tell me nobody kissed me."

Another moment that had the audience in stitches.

"Target locked. Target engaged. Target angry! Target angry!!"

i thought about creating this thread, but thought it might get merged to the post screening one, just got out of the showing an hour ago, and its gota be the hulk punching thor out of frame! everyone loved it!, and second is hulk just tossing loki around like a rag doll!! lol
then Hulk again waking up iron man! lol, next would be the whole dam movie! and then that tracking shot of all the guys in action.

im hoping hawkeye gets a bigger role next time, the could of had him do more!

i stuck around for the mid credit scene, but left after, is it confirmed there is no after credit scene?

GODS I can't wait to see this movie!!! lol
Seriously...a GALAGA scene? hahahaha

I don't remember how that entire conversation went on the Helicarrier, when they were discussing what to do with Loki, I only remember the last 3 lines

Thor: "He's my brother."

Black Widow: "He's killed over 80 people in 2 days."

Thor: "He's adopted."

Copying from the discussion thread:

Favourite moments?

Loki taking the piss out of Black Widow. Granted she got him to spill the beans in the end, but he really did come off as truly menacing in that scene.

Just about everything with Stark/Iron Man in it (with the exception of that unnecessary "it's a one-way trip" scene in the end, because everyone and their dog knows that is not going to happen, so it's just pointless dramatisation). I think the moment where Tony gets the propellers working and then gets that feeling of "oh crap" when he realises that the Cap didn't pull the lever was enough to show that he wasn't afraid to put himself on the line for others. Oh and "WE ARE NOT SOLDIERS!" was simply .

Hawkeye got the shaft in terms of characterisation, but not when it comes to being a total badass. His assault on the SHIELD carrier showed that even in the midst of superhumans just how dangerous a cunning and tactical assassin can be.

Captain America's quip about "there is only one God and I don't think he dresses like that" was classic. Showed he was old-school both inside and out.

Mark Ruffalo did an excellent job as Banner. I loved the playful banter between him and Tony.

EDIT: Crap, I forgot my favourite (and best) scene of all - when everyone confronts each other on the SHIELD carrier with Fury talking about developing weapons of mass destruction using the power of the artifact, Stark and Cap going "let's take this outside", Thor mocking the puny mortals for their pettiness all the while Black Widow (and deep down inside, everyone else) freaking out about Bana losing his s**t. It was a genuinely tension-filled moment and wished the film had more such instances that showed how unstable this team really was.

Ya, it's too funny man ..... While everyone is having a discussion, Tony spots one of the SHIELD lackies playing Galaga. They don't show it until the scene is about to end and the camera quickly cuts to the guy as he turns his screen saver off and starts playing Galaga again. You hear the little "pew pew" sound effects .... The way they cut to it was so dang funny.

I loved how he zapped Banner with, what was that thing anyway, electric screwdriver? Anyway, he zaps him and than stares at his face to see if he's going to change.

".... and that guy over there playing GALAGA. He thought we wouldn't notice, but we did."

and i think every scene with Loki! dude got 10x more bad ass than in Thor! but he kinda wimps out right at the end after the beating from Hulk

What's great about the Galaga gag was the fast-and-furious manner in which Stark was talking, mixing analysis of the current crisis with his normal *****ebag quips, basically coming off as an incoherent buffoon that you can't take seriously. So when the scene ends and the punchline is dropped, the payoff is so worth it. And to make things even better, there was an actual method to his madness.

Exactly. Whedon's wit was on full display on that one. So many non-Avengers cultural references in this movie. Shakespeare, Point Break, Galaga, etc. etc.

Tony: "Dost thy mother know thou wearest her drapes?"

hahaha MAN if someone says this movie sux, they need to be put away for life because they're clearly insane.

I've said this before, but because of Whedon's comedic sensibilities, it's impossible not to enjoy yourself watching the film. He strategically uses laughter it to open people up to the inherent absurdities of this kind of story.
