I want them to start as the first LOTR, with a voice-over explaining the past while showing us the flashbacks.
Then we will learn that Ethernia was a peaceful planet with highly developped kingdoms in terms of political and social matters (not high tech). The inhabitants were a very philosophical kind of people.
No-one knew about magic exept the leaders, with Greyskull being the wisest and strongest. They studied sorcery in the three different towers, as we know (this was before the castle was built)

The Snake People invaded this world and everything was turned upside down. The wars that followed were what made Ethernia so strange that it is today, with poverty and so on.

I will post my character suggestions another time. :)

Well you can't always get what you want. But it would be nice to get an epic He-Man film. I don't know if we'll ever see another live-action one again.

The film should not mention anything about Hordack. But they could give out a hint that someone powerful taught Skeletor about magic. He was Keldor back then, a young man who craved for knowledge and left his family (his brother is Randor, as we know).

No Adam/He-Man transformation. He should always look like He-Man and Adam be his real name, He-Man could be the alias most Eternians know him for, only his close fiends/allies knows and calls him by his real name.

There SHOULD be a transformation. We must have the "I have the poweeeeer!" in this film.

NO, not a war cry. I said the TRANSFORMATION . Prince Adam should be turned into He-Man, period!!!!!

why do you write small letters? anyway calm down, it's not like they're making a He-Man movie tomorrow based on the ideas posted here.

I write the way I prefer. And I am free to talk about anything I want here, with or without a movie. Ok?

In the Thor movie when he gets his powers back and his armour appears in his body it reminded me how He-Man transforms.

speaking of armors I wonder if a future He-Man movie will be affected by John Carter's movie costume, they look very similar.

The old times I mentioned in my first post, should be similar to earth's ancient greek/rome/egypt in terms of clothing, houses/temples and way of living (without slaves and wars, I mean). And all of this should be left in ruins after the encounter with Snake Men

The time of He-Man should be more like our middle ages, several hundred years later. Maybe even between 1000 and 2000 years.
And I think they need to begin the film with Randor and Keldor as young brothers, and have Duncan in there too. It was, after all, he who helped Randor drive the evil people away (including Keldor). And if I am not mistaken, Fisto was involved in some way. Injured in battle, taken care of by Teela'Na and then decided to live by himself deep in the woods.

Thing is the transformation is always one of the most appealing aspects to kids. Kids are growing and literally transforming themselves. That's why they like to see heroes and younger people transforming and getting super powers. It's like *THEY* are getting superpowers.

He-Man shouldn't be middle ages. Sci-fi mixed with medieval style fantasy is what makes it fun and sort of unique.

TheVileOne: The time when He-Man and the others live SHOULD be like our middle ages. Just add high tech elements and sorcery to it.

You need to take the oven mitts off before typing a reply to the thread. :hehe:

Sorry, but that's a horrible idea. There should DEFINITELY be a transformation from Prince Adam to He-Man. And it shouldn't be the totally gay transformation from the 80's TV show, where everyone in Eternia is a complete ****** for not realizing He-Man and Adam are the same person. It has to be a Bruce Banner/Incredible Hulk or Billy Batson/Captain Marvel type change like in the 2000 reboot of the series.

It would be quicker, easier, and just simply better, if they were to adapt the first few episodes of the 2000 He-Man reboot to a live action movie. Only thing missing is mentioning that Keldor and Randor are half brothers. That definitely needs to go into the film. I'd also add the scene where Hordak saves Keldor's life by turning him into Skeletor, except I would change Hordak to Hord-Prime.
