Tell that to all the fans at IMDB who are vehemently against casting a "massive steroid freak" weight lifter/bodybuilder and wrestlers. They want "real" actors playing He-Man. But as a wise man once said: "It's easier to take a bodybuilder and give him an acting coach and acting lessons than it is to take a regular actor and try to build him up into a body builder type of guy." It's not impossible (just observe Gerard Butler in 300), just difficult.that dude is buff but not enough we need a massive steroid freak
Funny thing: whenever I try to picture Alan Ritchson as He-Man, he comes out as the "New Adventures" He-Man, the one who wore the blue pants, as opposed the more barbaric He-Man of the Filmmation/Mike Young Productions and even the 1987 film.
