A simple question... what do you think the Spirit will be rated.

R- as 300 and Sin City are or

PG-13- so there is a larger range of audience

Well, the posters with the femme fatales on it are rather suggestive... but you're right, since its a Christmas Day release, I think it will be PG-13.

Alien Vs Predator: Requiem was an R rated film released on Christmas Day...The only question is if the studio wants Frank Miller to direct an R rated film of The Spirit.

....and as a result, Requiem fell flat at the box office. If Lionsgate is smart, they'll make this pg-13.

But I wants t**s dammit! :cmad::cmad:

rated R. The Spirit will be violent... and plenty of nudity

Whats wrong with that? :whatever:

Too much Miller and not enough Eisner.

Besides, nudity in films is nothing more than titilation. It serves no story purpose that can't be fulfilled in a more creative fashion. The gratuitious violence is Miller, not Eisner.

Geez, I really wish Eisner was still with us so he could've had a hand in this project.

My friend, I think we all do.:csad: I miss Eisner..............

...ummm, actually, no. Alot of us here have faith that Miller will do Eisner justice.:cwink:

...In the direction he's going so far, not looking to promising. You need to read some of the original Spirit comics by Eisner. Theres a big difference by the looks of the movie. :cwink:......The Shadow Knows!

I have, my friend. I own Archives Vol.1, issues #1 and 5 of the Warren editions and the Cooke books. The direction is worthy of Eisner, as far as I'm concerned.:cwink:

...Well, you can have your opinion and I'll have mine. But, to me The Spirit movie is starting to look like a sequel to Sin City in many ways. But, whatever...

R

just look at the posters (on your knees then), the trailer (naked eva mendes), and the dark sin city look... i love the look and trailers so far but there is no way this isnt gonna be an R...
