edit: my original sentence about superman and batman's moms' names made it look like they both had the same mother, when in fact i meant that they both had the same name. for some reason that never registered to me until writing this post...

I thought it was dumb when Bludhaven got leveled. I'm sick of HUGE biblically proportioned distasters happening every second day in both of the big two comic universes. It kinda takes the ooomph out of events that really matter. Another city gone to hell? oh, no big deal right there . wake me when the universe is about to implode
