Just because I'm looking forward to the TV show, I re-read "A Game of Thrones". Now I'm going to read "Macbeth".

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - JK Rowling

Finished Nicholas Sparks's Dear John a week or two ago. It was a good read but I don't know if I liked it. It was a bit depressing when I don't think it was supposed to be and I find I wasn't a big fan of the way it all played out.

Early into Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. It's an easy read to pull you in but I don't know if I like what I'm reading. I'll come to a decision after I finish it though.

Aliens and Satanic Creatures Wanted (Humans Need Not Apply) by Tony Ruggiero

Dragon Wing, volume one of the Death Gate Cycle by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I was hesitant to read the series since they take place on Earth after a nuclear disaster. Yet the elven, dwarven and human cultures of the realm of Arianus are so well developed that you'd never know the four realms are the remains of our world.

I think it might be best described as a mage-punk story: there's magical races and magic within the realms, but also rudimentary technology that has since been modified by the races populating the realms.

I recommend it. If you like their Dragon Lance novels, I think you'll like these. Even if you don't like Dragon Lance--I didnt like it initially, it seemed cliche at first--read it. I think you will like it.

Call your mother she loves you.:hrt::fhm:

Hyperion by Dan Simmons

Angels dont play this HAARP: Advances in Tesla Technology, by Dr. Nick Begich and Jeane Manning. If just 1/10 of what they say in this book is true, we're screwed

Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ellis for the third time. I just can't get enough of that f***er and he hardly brings any books out. He's been going for 25 years and has published... six books and one lot of shorts. I need more. Like a crack head, going on youtube watching him being interviewed and stuff. I am glad though that he takes his time and just writes classics every time, unlike Palahniuk who just churns them out every year, whether they're dogsh** or not (I'm a fan of his, but I do wish he'd slow down).

Breakfast at Tiffany´s by Truman Capote.

I have never read any Capote´s works and I was really impressed.
It's very well written and makes a wonderful reading experience.
The three other short stories included are good enough but lack the greatness of Breakfast but still worth reading.
I can't say enough to recommend this brilliant book.

In Cold Blood. His masterpiece. Please read.

Nobody's Fool-Richard Russo

Empire Falls by Russo seems to be something that I would like. I watched the HBO miniseries, now I put the book on my christmas list.

Just finished the Book of the Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. Gonna have to read it again, lot's of meaning there.

Just making your way through them dudes huh? Have you read the Potter books before?

Earth Chronicles, Book 1: The 12th Planet, by Zecharia Sitchin.
A very interesting read. Will be checking out the other books of this series for sure.

The Lady in the Lake by Raymond Chandler

This was my first Chandler novel, and he completely lives up to the hype. The mystery plot itself is really good, but what makes Chandler such a definitive writer is the excellent narrative style from Philip Marlowe, who is so much more as a main character than just the guy solving the crime.

I'm plowing through The Stormcaller by Tom Lloyd. I'm normally skeptical of fantasy books with heavily involved gods, but Lloyd's selling me on the concept.
