When did Batman defeat Bane?

I know that after the "Knightfall" series Batman had a rematch with, and eventually defeated, Bane. Could anybody tell me when this occurred and the details surrounding their meeting? Thanks in advance.

And also in the Bane One Shot Special. Bane took over a barge with a nuclear warhead on it, and was going to explode it in Gotham harbor. Bats and Nightwing stopped him. Bane rolled over Nightwing pretty easily, and i remember fans being a bit ticked off about that on the DC comics board, but Batman handed Bane his own ass.

No, just a prestige format one shot. It came out right around the same time as Schumacher's Batman & Robin movie...they also released a Poison Ivy book, and i THINK a Mr. Freeze as well.

Correct. The first one. I love that fight in tec #701 as well. You know as i was reading it, i was actually afraid for Batman. I cheered when he knocked Bane's lights out, lol.

Bane is my favourite villain after the obvious joker/twoface what makes him stand out is his intellectual AND physical match for batman i would love to see him in a movie.

Batman also beat Bane in a episode of the TAS called....Bane.

Bane was about to break Batman's back......

Until Batman got out a batarang and cut one of Bane's venom tubes. If Batman only had the energy to do that in Knightfall.
