Well, Fantastic Four (the new series) was cancelled and that got a series / season set.

I never saw any of the second season of TSSM, I'm excited to see it. Just want to get the season 2 package all in one. : (

wouldn't surprise me if Sony decided to release season 2 around the time the new Spidey film is released
