When was the last time you went to a museum, you uncultured slug?

I went Last year.

The Art Museum in New york city.

I went to the Chicago Natural History Museum during the summer of 06. Went to the Sears Tower immediately afterwards.

An art gallery 2 days ago. A museum, not since like 8th grade or something.

I'd go as much as I could, if I worked closer. I actually considered walking to the museum. Doesn't look too far on Google maps... Good thing I got some common sense knocked into me.

&&screw metro.

My dad is the manager of one, I'm usually there like once a week. At least.

I want to go to the star wars exhibit at the franklin institute in Philly.

best thread title ever! I went to an art gallery last may/june. I also went to the Liverpool World Museum around the same time (well they are next door to each other). They are free to enter all year. I meant to go and see the Turner Prize exhibition at Tate Liverpool in January but didn't get the time. Although I'm determined to go see the klimt exhibition.

Last summer. Friend of mine wanted to research into these huge portraits of monkeys which had been freed from capturing bastardos. Pretty amazing stuff.
But, we came to the conclusion that all in all, dinosaurs were faked. They're not real, they were created to inspire us before seeing Jurassic Park. It's all some big conspiracy :down

I'm a public speaker for the DIA in Detroit, so I'm in the museum a lot.

Manchester's Science and Industry Museum about two months ago.

Last week....they are doing a presentation about the Tuskegee Airmen for Black History month.

MOMA in SF in January while I was there on business. They were supposed to have some Matisse that I hoped to see, but they only had a few pieces out at the time, not the whole collection. I miss visiting NYC frequently like I used to when my wife (well, then fiance) was living there. We spent a lot of time at the American Museum of Natural History Museum and the Guggenheim. I loved the huge video installations they did at the Guggenheim.

The John Steinbeck 'Spirit of Monterey' Wax Museum, in Monterey Bay, last September.

It was an auto-narrated tour of wax statues (a few of them animatronic) explaining the history of Monterey Bay, starting all the way back at the Indian tribes, to the Spanish settlers, all the way through Steinbeck's friends and neighbors.

Royal Ontario Museum in July 2006

 the bat cave in there. The highlight of school trips was hiding under the rocks and jumping out at class mates (which occasionally meant scaring an innocent passerby). I really want to go soon, I have free passes and I want to take a look at the new Crystal and the renovated Dinosaur exhibit.

Last museum I was in was the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Aside from getting to be in a great Rocky location, it was a wonderful museum. Great impressionist and modernist collections. They also recreate a medieval temple and a japanese village inside, which was awesome.

I also worked at the Ontario Science Centre for a year :D

Last May, school trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I got yelled at by a rent-a-cop for leaning on an "ancient" pillar that was the size of a house. The Met can blow me.
