When will we start seeing new merchandise, and what will we see?

I remember reading somewhere that the new stuff will start rolling out sometime in April, but with something this big, wouldn't there be a more concrete date set? I'm sure places like Toys R' Us and Walmart and stuff will have huge displays advertising the toys and what not.

Also, aside from the action figures we know are coming out, what else is set to be released? My girlfriend is visiting her dad's cousins right now and apparently one of them use to own a toy store. He told her that some big new batman Hot Wheels toy is coming out soon and that if I had trouble finding it to give him a call . I assume he just meant a new line of batmobiles and what not like we saw for begins.

I assume we will also see some trading cards and what not as well. I remember Batman being on EVERYTHING when begins came out. Do you think there will be as much marketing for this one, or more? Hopefully not less, right?

This is going to be the first time I have an income when a Batman movie comes out (poor college kid, lol) so I really want to make sure I can get my hands on the good stuff as early as possible so I don't have to pay 5x as much on ebay later.

on TDK figures and stuff that was seen at toyfair, the date that each item said was 4/1/08, so i would hope that we would start seeing the action figures and vehicles soon.

Ive seen a thermos and soup container at my local Target with TDK graphics, also there is the shirts at Hot Topic, so really, merchandise is hitting now.

Im sure there will be a big release date for this stuff, just keep an eye out at the action figure sites.
