Where are all the Marvel games??

Spider-Gwen game doesn't get me excited. I want an Avengers game, playing as several different heroes on a AAA budget and console.

Well, you won't get it, so might as well move on to different dreams.

I don't really follow Spider-Man, or Marvel in general, anymore.

she's relatively new, having just debuted this past fall. Im not familiar with her either but LOVE her character design. She seems to have developed quite a cult following in such a short amount of time

I think a game starring her by Platinum would be cool. I doubt it would ever happen but you never know as stranger things have

Oh, Gwen as in Gwen Stacy, duh. Alternate universe, I'm assuming?

You assume correctly.
I don't follow any Marvel title these days, what I know about her is what you assume, and her nice outfit.

I'd rather have Platinum Games make a Spider-Man game.

I'd rather them not make any Spider-Man related games and do something else, but I'd buy it anyway.

I dont see why the two need to be mutually exclusive. A few posts up, I pitched Spider-Verse being adapted to a game and if they were to do that, then Id be all for it

Well, I want a real Spider-Man game first and foremost and in such a game, Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales etc. have no place.

It's akin to the Crash and Spryo going back to Sony dreams.

If Platinum wants to make a Spider-Gwen game, then that's the best option. What they want to do overrides any need for a "real" Spider-Man game.

OK let me repeat:

I want a great and real Spider-Man game before alternate mumbo jumbo. If Platinum Games were to make a Spider-Gwen game, fine. I'd still long for a great game with the one and only.

And let me repeat:

I don't give a **** about Spider-Man or anything within that franchise, but I would buy because Platinum Games is awesome, and my loyalty is to great games, not dogmatic attachments to characters .

Well let's just hope we'll get a Spider-Man game. :)

The best thing would be if Platinum Games continued to make their own things and we'd get Spider-Man games from somewhere else, rather than having Platinum Games occupied with alternate crap.

I wish they'd add this Punisher game from 2005 onto PSN Store/XBL Marketplace

Three games I'd love is..

-A new Punisher game
-Marvel Universe fighting game inspired by Injustice:Gods Among Us
-X Men Legends III or a remake of I&II
Asides from the fighting game, I don't see your desires happening. THQ is gone and I doubt Nordic Games can get the proper licenses to resell the game from Marvel. And Activision lost the X-Men rights. Basically, I just don't see sequels to old Marvel games ever happening again.

Fair enough.

Honestly, yeah, I feel about the same. But I don't really know anything about Spider-Gwen, so it's kind of like whatever for me.

True but an all new Punisher game could still be possible

I haven't read it but it screams "new cool!" to me. From what I've heard Peter Parker becomes Lizard and weird stuff like that.

I love Spider-Man and I love Platinum Games. Seeing PG occupied with a "semi"-Spider-Man game would feel like wasted potential to me.

Speaking of PG, and this is totally off topic, but do we know anything new about Scalebound since the announcement of the game?

No, not really. Just that it won't be in a genre that the director as done before, so it won't be an action game in the style of DMC or a survival horror game.

Ah I see! Thanks for the info! I don't even own an Xbox One but I'm very curious about that game.

A new Punisher game, sure. But I don't see it happening until the Marvel game rights are settled, and even then I think Marvel will be far more focused on the Avengers and Spider-Man properties.

Wish this would get an HD re-release or something. It's too good of a game to just be forgotten.

Would also love to see a spiritual successor of it that actually succeeds it, unlike the lackluster SEGA Hulk game that was made in 2008.

I had forgotten about that game but yup,A reboot/spiritual successor would defiantly be..Incredible
