Transformers Where can we order the SOUNDWAVE MP3 player?

Instead of dealing with Ebay, what online stores can we order the SOUNDWAVE MP3 player (with or without the Frenzy/Rumble headphones)?

Does anyone know:
1. the size of this Soundwave figure? Is it smaller than the regular versions?
2. do the hands transform into the MP3 player or does one have to remove the hands in order to transform the robot into the MP3 player?

The figure is slightly smaller than the G1 SW figure to make it more convenient as an MP3 player. Also, the figure is supposed to play music in both robot and alt mode.

no. im almost 100% posotive that they do not have to be removed.

from what i see the hands/fists actually slide into the lower arms like the G1 toy did.

For scale someone put him next to his real gears.

The initial reviewer said he's around the same height as Titanium Soundwave, AKA about deluxe sized.

Also playing music in his robot mode isn't going to look that great. You see the audio port is where you stick his shoulder cannon.

I don't think he's that great. As a music player he's fairly basic, and his tape case is where you put the micro-SD card. Not wroth the $130 it would take to get him. Unless I went with HLJ where they'd only charge me his MRSP of 10000 Yen+Shipping. Which I just checked and is $104 total.

I Believe it is a MINI sd card not a micro sd card that you use in him

I'll just be happy with MP versions (in toon colours) of Starscream, Skywarp, and T-cracker.

Besides a MP Soundwave that was an MP player would cost the same as MP-04. That is, a lot.

Can someone also confirm that this Soundwave is officially "In Stock" now? If a store says "In Stock," does that actually mean I can get it now? Some stores say "Ship Date December," while others (such as Amazon) say "In Stock? I don't want to get tricked into a "pre-order."

(sorry, for all the questions, im just very excited to get this soundwave)

He came out last month. But the blue version sold out quickly. Unsurprisingly a white Soundwave didn't sell well. The next shipments of the blue version ship in December with a new "Soundblaster" black version.


If you really want him now you can get the white version. Seen here next ot the blue version.

LARS, thank god you posted that thread on him, because I have no interest anymore getting the figure for that much money after all the negative reviews, especially since it seems a bit tricky to use the MP3 player...thanks so much for the post.
