Where my geeks at ??!!

I'm a film geek . I 'll obsess on a movie until i see it , then i calm down . I 'll read endless reviews of a movie prior to and a couple days after the release. Then I move onto another movie or television show . I buy dvds based on the way they look . If i dont like the cover of a dvd sometimes , I wont buy the movie or if i do i will go online and download a better cover. Now I am obsessed with the hd -dvd blue ray war.

You should try seeing movies without haveing any prior knowledge on them (ie: no reviews, no trailers, etc...). Then you'll REALLY like movies. And that's the only way to fly.

Yeah sometimes i stumble upon too much information . I really dig trailers but now they give too much away . If I see an idependent film that went straight to video usually i have no idea about it except maybe the actors.
The only time i was really suprised was when i went with a girl to see vanilla sky , that movie really caught me off guard.

Now you know what to do, in case you ever wanted to have that feeling again.

I saw Vanillia Sky for the first time the other day, it rules.

i saw I Am Legend Friday.

we were all super hyper before the movie and I swear after it, we all had like no energy. the whole mood changed completely

i hated the movie for what it was, but I have to admit, It affected me. so no matter how much I didn't care for it, the movie did it's job.

the part that got me the most was

when he had to put down sam
i'm always a sucker for stuff like that, but it really hit home when i had to take my dog to a vet and they couldn't save her.

it just made me think of the world at large and how ugly things are/will be etc

Yeah, that part got to my girlfriend as well. She mentioned she cried during that scene. I for one loved I Am Legend, apart from the fact it was ear shatteringly loud.
