Your the man bubastis! I just read the interview and I gotta say, Spike Jones knows what he's talking about. Im looking forward to this more than Wolverine and Watchmen 'gasp'!
From What I've seen, the test footage is nothing like the actual film. Spike Jones really knows what he's doing here. I think the film will be fantastic

Ok I see what your saying. I thought you were bashing the idea of the movie. I think the movie will be a tough sell at first, but once people see what's being done with it, it'll be fine. Most people know and love the book anyhow.
I guess your right. Spike Jones did say that this isn't a movie geared towards a younger audience. Truth be told the target audience is going to be all the people who had it in their childhood. All those people are older now and can truly understand the depth of the film.

Your definetly viewing this film in a more positive light lol. That's cool though. I like how just the stills alone are provoking [sic] all these different interpretations of the mood. This film is going to be fantastic. BTW when the hell are we gettin a trailer????
