Definately, definately Roger, he is 2nd only to Hellboy as my favourite character from that and the BPRD series, and I think he would be awesome in the movies and another brute to add to the team. I hope GDT reconsiders using him in the movies, as he really is an awesome character with a tragic story, who proves to be ultimately good and decent, more so than many humans.

Depending on the budget they get if the 3rd movie gets made, they could introduce a couple of new characters to the BPRD/Team (depending on if any of them return to the BPRD).

Strange Places featured Hellboy learning more about what he was intended to become, and ultimately overcoming that. I would like to see this factored into the 3rd movie. Possibly through one of his children.

Not neceserily, I mean the Hellboy comics deal with Ghosts all the time. THe ghost of princess Noala could come back right?

^I cant see that happening, the deaths of all 3 elves in the movie seemed pretty definitive. Anyway, who say's Abe needs a love interest, just give him an interesting part in the story and he wont need a love interest. Have him, Roger and Hellboy becoming REALLY close friends after being unsure of each other.

He does seem a bit tougher in the comics, and a bit more direct in his fighting that what was shown in HBII. I suppose just seeing him in action more would be sufficient. Although a friendship with Roger could be a good way to go also.

I voted Roger, but I would be happy with either him, Lobster Johnson or Lucifer to be honest. Dont see a need for Kate Corrigan since Hellboy has Liz to flirt with, etc, in the movies.

Yeah it would, seeing Roger kicking ass alongside him would be even more awesome!

You know what... I just want del Toro to out do the second movie and break the cycle of the third one not being great. Adding characters or not... of course with the end of the second, there really is an opportunity to bring in the rest of the B.P.R.D. crew that haven't got any movie time yet.


And hopefully that will include expanding Johann's character and developing his character past the little glimpses we got in HB2.
